This isnโt Lennyโs first professional photoshoot, but getting the opportunity to do it again now means more than we can even put into words.
Lenny has been through so much in the past year and a half, and having these images of him nowโ happy, loved, and still so โLENNYโ ๐ โ is something we will truly cherish forever.
We canโt thank Grace Marie Photography enough for the love and intention she puts into her pet photography, from how much fun sessions with her are, to the photographs we get to hold onto long after the moment passes.

Sneak peek for Lauren of 5 year old All American, Lenny!
Lauren says, โWe adopted Lenny from Yuppy Puppy Forever Rescue in January 2021. He was about 8 months old at the time and he was in full blown crazy puppy era. He was so cute though! We bonded with him so fast and going through training with him really helped solidify that bond. It really wasn't long before it felt like he had just always been a part of our lives.
In October 2024 after a completely normal day, Lenny woke us up in the middle of the night completely paralyzed in his back end. We rushed him to the pet ER and he was quickly diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease, a spinal condition that causes the cushioning discs between the bones in the spine to suddenly bulge into the space containing the spinal cord. To give him the best chance of ever walking again, he urgently needed a very expensive surgery to remove the bulging disc off his spinal cord. Our family and friends, and even our clients, all generously supported us in paying for Lenny to have the surgery, begin physical therapy and afford the many other treatments and supplies we needed to give Lenny the best possible outcome. We gave Lenny every tool, every bit of support, and all the love we had but fight was his. Through courage, determination and an unbreakable spirit, he battled IVDD and reclaimed his ability to walkโ starting with some wobbly steps with his back legs in December of that year and by March of 2025 he was on all fours again. IVDD is a life long condition so we have all had to do a lot of adjusting to our new normal and things like activity restrictions, but Lenny always remains in high spirits and heโs adapted amazingly. He still loves to play and spend time outdoors, and he gets so excited to โgo swimming,โ which is going to his physical therapist for the underwater treadmill. He has a lot of appointments but he always has a blast because he totally adores all his doctors and their technicians too. Lenny does not let his medical diagnosis define him. He lives in the here and now and that inspires us every day. He will always be our silly happy baby boy!โ
