It’s the season for Horse Spray! You care about ingredients and we care about you and your horse.

We love that our customers care! The number 1 question we get about our Horse Spray is why it looks and smells different from season to season and we think the answer is actually pretty cool. 😎 You can really only achieve perfect product uniformity when you use synthetics, and synthetics aren’t our style! Our oils and herbs come straight from the fields. The oils are steam distilled or cold pressed, and the leaves are dried or powdered. It’s the real deal! 🌱 Crops come out with major differences depending on location, weather, season, a million other factors… if you have a garden you know what we mean. So each batch of horse spray that we make has its own “flavor.” Sometimes the notes of lavender are stronger, sometimes neem is the first scent that hits your nose. It’s natural, and it works. 🤠

Equiderma did not begin in a laboratory.

It began in a barn.

One day, a horse named Sahara arrived.

She was covered from poll to tail in thick, painful scabs. She itched constantly, violently, desperately — rubbing herself against stall walls, metal gates, and trees. She was the most miserable creature I had ever seen. And she was pregnant.

I mixed raw ingredients together by hand — not to create a product, but to help one horse survive her own skin.

That night, I poured the mixture over Sahara from her poll to her tail. Then I sat with her in the stall and waited. Fifteen minutes later, she lowered her head — and stopped itching. The next morning, when warm water touched her skin, the scabs sloughed off in sheets. Beneath them was not infection, not decay — but pink, healthy skin. Within two weeks, Sahara carried the most beautiful, glossy coat. The itching never returned. She later gave birth to a c**t named Bravo and lived out her life safe, peaceful, and deeply loved.
That formula became Equiderma Skin Lotion.
