Never stop doing little things for others.
Sometimes those little things
occupy the biggest part of their hearts.

The story behind our name
“Angel Reins.” ♥️

Cowboy was scheduled to load a slaughter truck to Mexico THIS VERY DAY (October 29) 11 years ago.

By the grace of God, we were blessed to bring him home before that nightmare happened.

Gideon was a loner until his best friend Cowboy arrived.

These two horses are the horses behind our name!

While riding Cowboy and Gideon ba****ck and only their halters, with dear friend, Christine Larson Olson we said, “Look at these angels! Loose reins and all!"

And there you have it! The rest is history.🐴🤍🐴

After a very rainy week and stormy day, the horses are enjoying a peaceful evening. The temperature is perfect, no bugs and the moon is bright!

Cowboy ♥️
What a blessing this beautiful little buttermilk buckskin is.❤️

Eleven years ago today he arrived at the Bastrop Louisiana kill lot.

This beautiful, amazing, intelligent, funny horse had a three day window before being shipped off to slaughter in Mexico.

Fast forward... Now at his forever loving home, we cannot even begin to count the lives he’s touched... and saved.

The Founder's Favorite and only Cowboy.

Slow down and enjoy life. It's not only the scenery you miss by going to fast - you also miss the sense of where you are going and why. Eddie Cantor
