Good morning everyone! As some of you know I was blessed to have my first child, a baby girl named Ivory. I am now nearing the end of my maternity leave and will be back grooming soon. Warmer temperatures are finally here! A lot of you are now asking about double coated shave downs. I do them if medically necessary but try not to do them for they can actually cause negative side effects to your furry friend. I always strive to do what is best for your pup and will always educate first. Spring is definitely here and the warm weather is coming! I have a friend who told me so 😂

P.s. this is only about 1/4 of what I got off this dog. It was after the first brush out and the bath (with conditioner and another brush out) already happened. It’s amazing how much more a blow out gets out.

Did you know there are many benefits of having your pup groomed regularly?
Some of them include:
⭐️ keeping nails short helps prevent foot and joint issues.
⭐️ cleaning ears helps prevent ear infections including yeast infections in the ear.
⭐️ keeping dogs coats maintained and brushed helps prevent matting (very tight knots that often have to be shaved or if not caught early enough)
⭐️ by preventing matting of the coat you’re preventing circulation issues which can cause hematomas.
⭐️ keeping double or triple coated dogs de-sheded helps with their thermoregulation preventing overheating and possible heat stroke.
⭐️ regular grooming allows for a bond to be formed between the groomer and the dog.
⭐️ regular grooming allows the groomer to make note of any lumps, bumps, bruises, etc. then we can more easily notice if something is progressing or growing and let the owner know which can potentially lead to early diagnosis, treatment and even prevention.
⭐️ it can prevent a whole infestation of fleas if caught beforehand.
⭐️ regular grooming can mentally stimulate your pup in which they can look forward to a routine as some humans have and look forward to.

Hello! Did you know I have experience in almost every aspect of the animal field? Although grooming is my favorite, I have actually attended college for veterinary technology and have even boarded dogs with a doggy daycare. I have been working with animals in general for eight years and have experienced a wide variety of situations and behaviors. It definitely helps to have the experience to better serve your pets and meet (and exceed) all of their needs
