We had a little friend come into the clinic recently who wasn’t feeling her best. She had developed a significant amount of fluid buildup in her uterus, and we quickly started her on fluids 💧 and antibiotics to help stabilize her and get her feeling a bit stronger. After a full day of supportive care, we prepared her for a pyometra surgery—a procedure that can be life-saving in cases like hers. 💪We’re so happy to share that the surgery went extremely well, and she’s now on the road to a much healthier, happier recovery! 😁

✨We recently had a husky come in, who wasn’t eating or drinking because he was so uncomfortable. 🥴 After some test we discovered he had swallowed something he shouldn’t have. With plenty IV fluids and frequent x-rays 🩻 to track the objects progress we were able to help him pass it naturally and avoid surgery. He’s now feeling much better and back on track!! 😄

This Thursday, we’re shining a big bright spotlight on all the amazing dogs and cats who started their journey in a shelter and are now living their best lives in loving homes. ❤️

Shelter pets are survivors, snugglers, comedians, and loyal companions and they deserve to be celebrated!
