Ichabod the Dog has joined our home. He's adapted well, other than continuing to question the authority of the undisputed alpha of the house, . But I suspect she's glad for the company after Shadrach the Dog (2010-2024) moved on a year ago.

Thank you to the Sangamon County Animal Control & Adoption Center for taking care of the canine formerly known as TJ until he found his way to bunk here. Please foster and/or rescue!

While walking tonight, a woman working in her garden stopped us and said, "You have some beautiful dogs -- Holy Cow!" Whether Shadrach the Dog's ear was dislocated at the moment, I don't know, and as for the Redd One, she was oblivious, plowing forward like Admiral Peary.
