Meet Jax! This sweet 15-week old roly poly has puppy rolls to spare and is waiting patiently for his forever home. Jax came to us from PLR supporter Darlene after she took in his mother. Thanks to Randy and family for fostering! Jax is a husky boy…this hunk of love is over 30 pounds of pure sweetness, and growing by the day. With his stunning bovine-colored coat and freckled nose and ears, this boy would win any beauty pageant he entered. He radiates pure joy with his big smile and has a babylike softness with both his teddy bear fur and his jester-like personality. And Jax looooooves people! Because of his young age, Jax still has some appropriate puppy energy to burn through and will need to continue training, starting with puppy kindergarten. For more information, or to apply to adopt Jax, visit: www.pittieloverescue.org/jax/

update: ADOPTED! 💙🐾

My name is Asher! I’m a handsome young man with a wagging tail and a love for life.
I’m looking for a special home. I am mostly deaf and I have some neuro (brain) quirks.

I may be able to hear clapping, but that’s about it! I sometimes make strange vocalizations that don't match my body language because I can't hear myself either. 🤷‍♂️ I LOVE people. I’m hoping for a family who can teach me some sign language/hand signals so we can better communicate. I am happy to run and play, but also love nothing more than a comfy couch, chair, dog buddy, or human to snooze on. I am in foster care. If you’d like to meet me, call 413-781-4000 to speak with the Manager of Behavior Services to learn more about my needs!

I AM REPOSTING CANDY RIGHT NOW, BECAUSE HER POST FROM 2 DAYS DIDN'T EVEN GET ONE CRUMMY SHARE. :(

SO COME ON! NETWORKERS! THAT'S WHY WE DO THIS! FOR THE SHARES. THE SHARES ARE HOW THESE SWEET HOMELESS PETS FIND HOMES. SO LET'S GIVE CANDY A DO OVER! ^_^

So one, two, three — SHARE! :D

CANDY is a large, 8-year-old, HAPPY, FRIENDLY, PLAYFUL pittie girl who likes everyone she meets — and even brings them toys! :) She is good on a leash and knows her basic commands. She doesn't seem to mind other dogs. Unfortunately, she does NOT like cats or small dogs.

Senior dogs make some of the best pets! Please consider adopting a senior! Especially CANDY!

Up For Adoption:
Annie came into the Southwick Animal Shelter as a stray dog. She was frightened and a bit guarded when she first arrived. With all the love the kennel staff have been showing her she has really made great strides. When asked for kiss kiss she will now give the staff member a kiss on her face. She also seems curious of other dogs and seems to like a few of the smaller dogs that have been in the shelter. The staff feels she could be ok with older polite children. Won't you give her the time she needs to get used to a new family. 413-569-5348 ext649 Southwick Animal Shelter
