Dear Springfield & the Pioneer Valley,

We accept the fact that you see us as a café.
The people who make your food and brew your coffee.
A place you come to eat, drink, meet, and move on.

That is what you see.

What you don’t see is that everything that happens here is intentional.

Behind this place is the coffee roaster.
The master chef.
The social scientist.
The longtime charming businessman.

People who pay attention to how rooms feel. To how energy shifts. To how sound, light, food, and timing shape the way people connect. Running a place like this takes more than being open for business. It takes care. It takes curiosity. It takes believing that spaces can change people.

And we are not alone in this.

Surrounding us is a freeze drier who is also an OR nurse and carries a depth of perspective most of us will never see. A butcher who studied his craft in Rome and is so committed to tradition and preparation that it shows in every cut. A growing marketplace powered by women owned businesses whose presence changes the energy of the room. A collective of books, decor, and ideas that continues to take shape, with more to come in the year ahead.

This is an experiment.
This is a collective.
This is possibility.

We believe food and coffee are just the beginning. Through events and moments, we work to lift our businesses and our city at the same time. To fight stigma. To create memories. To make room for people of all walks of life. To believe that change is possible and that becoming better usually starts with learning and changing your mind.

You can define us however you want. In the simplest terms. In the most convenient categories.

What we know is this.
We are more than a café.
We are building a better way forward.
We are carving out a legacy rooted in people, creativity, and care.

As one year closes and another begins, we have so much more planned. New ideas. New experiences. New moments that continue to shape what this place can become and who it can empower.

🚨 UPDATED HOURS 🚨

We’ve decided to close for New Year’s Day 🫣

We have a little bit of juice to get us to next weekend but not quite that much juice to be open New Year’s Day.

We will see you next Friday - Sunday 9-2 all weekend.

We will be CLOSED January 5 through the 14. We will be back at it for our Farm to Fork dinner Thursday the 15 and Eat the Screen on the 22. Plus our usual hours, Friday 7-2, Sat & Sun 9-2.
