We’ve recently treated several pets for fish hooks lodged in noses and mouths. While this guy was a great sport, these injuries can be painful and sometimes require sedation to remove safely.

Please keep fishing gear secured and out of reach so your pet doesn’t take the bait 🎣

🚧 If your pet ever gets hooked, don’t try to remove it at home. Call your vet right away.

Cats are masters at hiding illness, which is why regular veterinary care is so important.

They’re often overlooked when it comes to vet visits, but preventive care plays a huge role in their long-term health. Routine exams and blood work help us catch concerns early and keep our feline patients feeling their best.

It’s recommended that cats have at least a yearly wellness exam, and for our senior patients, exams every 6 months are often encouraged since serious changes can happen quickly. Because when cats stay quiet, early care speaks for them 🐾💜
