Gidget is not interrupting my workout or waiting for it to be over. She watches what I’m doing, then lies down beside me while I work through my physical therapy.

She is participating in the routine in her own way. She can be near me, stay settled, and enjoy being part of what I’m doing without needing to take over the session.

Halloween is fun for us. For our dogs? It can be a LOT.

The doorbell keeps ringing. Strangers are showing up in costumes. Candy is everywhere. Their normal evening suddenly looks completely different.

A little planning can help. Keep treats out of reach, skip the costume if your dog isn’t comfortable, and give them a quiet place to get away from the action.

Every dog in this group is holding a down while their owner stays right there, handling them through the distractions.

The teams are close together, movement is happening around them, and each owner is practicing how to keep their own dog connected and settled. This is not a staged moment where nothing ever goes wrong. It is real practice for the situations families face outside the facility.

Sarah’s world had started to feel small.

She stopped taking Brody on walks because she was afraid of his outbursts. Having people over was stressful too, so normal life with her Golden Retriever kept getting smaller.

After training, walks came back. She could have people over without spending the entire time managing Brody, and he could be part of family life instead of being kept separate from it.

Brody is still a goofy Golden Retriever. The difference is that Sarah learned how to communicate with him, and he learned how to respond. She got her dog back, and her world got bigger.

From stressful walks to staying calm around 20 dogs! 🐾👏

Truman used to struggle with reactivity so much that his owner had to actively avoid other dogs during walks.

After just two weeks of focused training with Dog Training Elite, Truman was able to participate in an outdoor group class surrounded by other dogs while maintaining his composure!

There's still progress to be made, but Truman and his owner now have the tools and confidence to keep moving forward together. 💙

Lily had a difficult start with her health, and now she has her energy back. Kelly is learning how to guide that energy into a heel so walks do not become a contest between the dog and the person holding the leash.

Pulling and sniffing do not have to run the whole walk. When the dog understands the heel and the owner knows how to communicate it, the dog’s mind can come back to the person instead of wandering off on its own adventure.

That is how a walk becomes something the family can enjoy together.

Piper is a five-year-old fear-based Cheweenie, and Kevin is learning how to help her succeed.

He gives the command, Piper thinks hard, and then she chooses to follow his direction. The coach helps them move through the rep, and when Piper finishes, Kevin releases her and they celebrate together.

For Piper, pleasing Dad is opening up a bigger world. For Kevin, learning how to guide her means he can do more with the dog he loves.

Titus chose to come to group class with Alyssa and Ginny, even on a cold morning when staying home would have been easier.

Ginny is working alongside them as a service-dog-in-training, and this team is practicing how to move through the group together. These outings help the family build confidence and participate in more of life, one real experience at a time.

The goal is not a perfect performance for strangers. It is a family learning how to keep moving forward together.

X took Greta to Apple Butter Makin’ Days, a huge local event with crowds, noise, and people everywhere.

Before training, X would not have been able to take Greta, her son, and the dog into that kind of environment together. Now Greta stays beside her and remains calm. They can also go to the post office, Lowe’s, and other everyday places without the outing becoming a production.

That is a much bigger life for X, her son, and Greta. The dog is no longer the reason everyone has to stay home.

Join our fast-growing pack here at Dog Training Elite! Our team is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person with a passion for helping our Brand grow and ensuring our users operate to the highest potential on the systems/tools provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions on various brand-wide systems, including the CRM, G-Suite, Twilio, LearningZen and DogStar DMS
• Document and communicate user account details per franchise to the billing department for accurate Tech Fee billing
• Provide support on user system issues as they arise
• Manage various pilot and Beta programs to improve systems as needed, identifying key regional participants, and gathering feedback to determine a brand-wide fit
• Plan, develop, and conduct individual and group training related to brand-wide systems
• Monitor system production to ensure compliance and quality
• Develop documents and videos for automated system procedures, manuals, and requirements
• Promote a culture of feedback and communication as we work to improve processes
• Help identify process improvements
• Help implement process changes
• Create, enhance, and improve various documents and videos on a bi-lingual scale
• Coordinate projects with other team members as needed

Salary: $44,000 with potential increase after 90-day review
