🐾🐾Why does it take so long to groom your dog?🐾🐾 Well sometimes it takes us longer due to many reasons for example..... having a new pup who is frightened for everything bc they aren't used to the process and rushing them will only traumatize them for life! Senior dogs take longer and require more love and patience. Frightened rescues take time to go at their pace and not forced! It takes time to build trust and we are working with very very sharp tools and moving targets! So plz if your groomer is taking longer than usual there's always a good reason! Be kind be patient! It stresses us out when you rush us and causes alot of anxiety which the furbabies also feel making the process even harder than it already is for them! Im not one on one I take multiple appts at once so everyone is in a rotation. It only takes one person being late to set the entire day behind or just one 💩 accident or one senior dog that needs breaks or that pup who is Frightened! We love your furbaby just like our own and each one has their own quirk or special need that takes more time! I do my best to keep lines of communication open but also keeping everyone safe and happy! I know we make our jobs look easy but trust me we have trained for this and its not as easy as it looks! We love what we do but it can take a toll on our body and mental health! This is part of why I always look like a hot mess 🤣 Most importantly I truly appreciate yall for trusting us with your precious babies and being so supportive throughout my career!
