This Christmas, meet Boomer—the dog who never lets shelter life dim his sparkle.
He’s cheerful, eager to please, and loves showing off his clever tricks (especially if snacks are involved). Boomer has waited a long time for his miracle, and he’s hoping this holiday season is finally his turn to go home. 🎄

Today’s Duo: McLarty & Pierce!

Meet McLarty (1 year, 46 lbs) and Pierce (1 year, 31 lbs) — two sweet boys who officially became best friends during today’s playgroups! These two aren’t overly hyper, but they’re definitely playful, joyful, and full of puppy charm.

They’re still learning their manners, but they’re eager to please and soak up guidance like little sponges. Both are incredibly affectionate with every person and dog they meet — total social butterflies with wagging tails to match.

If you’re looking to add some extra warmth and cheer to your home this holiday season, McLarty and Pierce are ready to bring all the Christmas spirit straight to your couch, your walks, and your heart.

Today’s Feature: Dora the Explorer!

Meet Dora, our adventure-loving girl who’s exploring the world one sniff at a time! She’s a 1-year-old, 57-lb explorer in her best form — as a dog — and she’s currently mastering her sit like a pro. Some of her other commands and manners? Well… she’s working on those, but she’s a fast learner and oh-so eager to please.

Dora loves hitting the trails, taking in all the sights, smells, and sounds nature has to offer. Whether she’s running like her life depends on it or gently trotting beside you, she’s happiest when exploring with her favorite human.

She listens well to gentle corrections, is very treat-motivated, incredibly curious, and full of life. And when you need someone to talk to? Dora will happily lend you those big ol’ ears and listen to every word.

❓ Myth Busting: Do Indoor Pets Need Vaccines?
“My pet stays indoors — do they really need vaccines?” (Yes!) Indoor pets can be exposed to dangerous diseases through shoes, visitors, shared spaces, or short outdoor trips. Even if your pet never steps outside, you can’t guarantee their environment is pathogen-free. Core vaccines are a low-risk, high-benefit way to protect your pet from potentially fatal illnesses that can enter your home unexpectedly. Vaccines protect against viruses that spread easily — like parvo, canine and feline distemper and calicivirus for cats. 💉
