The other foster bowed out so now we have all 9 of the forest family dogs! Spruce, Rowan, Birch, Fern, Juniper, Olive, Aspen, Willow and Magnolia are all in the Equilibrium house!

Welcome our newest foster pups to the Equilibrium house!
Meet Momma Sweet Magnolia (Maggie)! Rowan, Fern, Juniper and Aspen! I've been preparing to bring these guys home all week! They were saved by the sanjacinto county animal shelter and thankfully tagged for rescue by the North East MD! We have just begun their foster journey but look forward to safeguarding this little family until their transport! Also! There are 4 other little trees in this forest family Spruce, willow, Birch and Olive! They're being fostered by another member of our community but we'll definitely be having family reunions throughout the weeks to come!

Animal advocacy is always at the heart of what Equilibrium does. Whether that's through working with our clients to build strong relationships with people and their dogs. Or through the hours we spend with rescue and shelter dogs, educating the public and helping place and keep pets in loving homes. This year Equilibrium has successfully helped place over 50 dogs in homes, 10 cats in homes, TNR'ed 31 cats, transported 20 dogs for vital spay and neuter surgeries for community members, fostered 8 dogs and participated in 6 different adoption events!
And we're not through yet! We love working with local rescue groups, our county shelter, and with members of our community that just need a bit of help. Thank you for supporting everything we do !

Haliey has officially been adopted! Her new momma is going to continue her heartworm treatment we've begun and the funds raised will be directly given to the clinic her happily ever after has begun! Although we will definitely miss her here in the Equilibrium house! Guess it's time to pick up another foster pup now ☺️

I've been hard at work preparing for the home for the holidays adoption event at the San Jacinto County Texas Animal Shelter! Now here's one more gift for those looking at coming to the shelter this weekend to bring home a new family member! FREE TRAINING EVALUATION AND PRIVATE LESSON for all adopters this weekend at the home for the holiday event! I'll be there each day to assist adopters, go over home acclimation tips and answer questions about our dogs and the programs I offer.

Our friends at the San Jacinto county Animal Shelter are ready for the big adoption event this weekend! We had over half of our dogs qualify for the play star award. Many of our dogs were put together in a 60x60 run for a sociability test and play group! If they got along with everyone in there they got the award. The award will go on their kennel for tomorrow so adopters can see who thrives with other dog friends! The amazing volunteers at the SJC animal shelter have been working to understand dog behavior and help improve the lives of these shelter dogs through training and properly structured and safe socialization and it's really paying off for these awesome dogs!
