🚣‍♀️ AUTYMN & WYNTER’S KAYAK ADVENTURE PRACTICE! 🌊🐾

Airedale Terriers Autymn and Wynter came in for another fun pre-trip swim as they get ready for their big kayaking adventure next May! 💙🐶 Even without the boat this time, they had a great session and soaked up all the excitement. Their family is thrilled for the trip, and these two are well on their way to being awesome little kayak co-captains!

💡 Fun Fact: Practicing balance and confidence in calm water helps dogs feel more secure when they hop into real kayaks or canoes on outdoor trips!

🎉 BLUEY, BAILEY & CASEY’S WILD & WAGGY SWIM! 💦🐾

Bluey the Bluetick Hound and Bailey & Casey the Beagles were back today, bringing their usual mix of chaos and charm! 😄💙 Bluey is basically a full-time job on his own, but he keeps us laughing the whole session. The Beagles added their own goofy energy, and together they made the pool feel extra lively. Such a fun visit with this trio!

💡 Fun Fact: Bluetick Hounds have incredible noses and tons of stamina, while Beagles are known for their joyful, curious personalities — no wonder this crew is always on the move!

💙 STERLING’S FIRST SWIM DAY!

Sterling had an amazing first swim at Rummy’s! This handsome boy warmed up quickly and showed off how playful and confident he really is. He explored the pool, splashed around, and had the best time getting comfortable with the water. Such a sweet, gentle swimmer already! 💦🐶

💡 Fun Fact: Swimming is a fantastic confidence builder for rescue dogs — the low-impact movement helps them relax while boosting trust and body awareness. Then he relaxed with his new friends/siblings, Mama and ZaZa 💗

✨ MEET STERLING!

Sterling is one of our newest friends at Rummy’s, and he is already winning hearts! 💙🐾 He came from Abandoned Animal Rescue, and he arrived with the sweetest manners — sit, stay, wait, and the most patient little personality. He’s confident, gentle, and so eager to connect.

We love seeing dogs come in with a foundation of training, and Sterling is a perfect example of how much that helps new dogs feel safe and comfortable in the pool.

Layla started leaping off the floatie today, so we tried to capture the ultimate action shot — her jumping while Xander launched into the air with those perfectly pointed toes 😄💙 Always a blast with this duo.

💡 Fun Fact: Dogs often tuck or point their toes when jumping — it helps them balance and get a cleaner lift-off, just like little canine athletes!

🌊 GOOBER, FRANKIE & LUCY’S FAMILY SWIM DAY! 🐾💦

It was a special day — mom got to come to the swim session, and the whole pack was so excited! Goober was full of spirit, running, splashing, and jumping like always. Nothing slows this boy down! 💙 Frankie kept everyone laughing with his playful jumps and his mission to get the toy before anyone else 😄 And Lucy enjoyed a few sweet swims with Dad helping her in, just like she loves.

Such a happy, high-energy visit for this wonderful crew — they always make the pool feel brighter when they’re here!

🎸 VAN HALEN & FRIDA’S ROCKSTAR SWIM! 💦🐾

Van Halen and his best friend Frida were back, and they brought all the energy today! Van Halen went straight for his favorite piggy toy — diving into the deep end, circling the pool, and doing it all over again like a total pro. It’s amazing to see how far he’s come and how confident he is now! 💙

Frida was her usual comedian self — jumping in left and right, splashing everywhere, and “helping” with Van Halen’s toy even though she never grabs it 😂 She just loves being part of the action! These two are always such a joy to have in the pool.

💡 Fun Fact: Vizslas are known for their high energy and love of retrieving, which makes them natural stars in water play sessions!

💥 TAFFY’S NONSTOP JUMPING FUN IN THE DOME! 🐾💦

Taffy was on a mission today — jumping in over and over and over again! 💛 She has such a cool way of catching her toy mid-jump, and we tried our best to catch those perfect moments. Our winter dome is up now, so come swim in our heated dome!

💡 Fun Fact: High-energy jumpers like Taffy use their whole body to launch forward, which makes for some seriously impressive (and hard-to-capture!) action shots.

Our story begins with a loving blind Siberian Husky named Rummy. He was a rescue dog that captured hearts all over the world as the winner of the 2007 Purina Pro Plan Rally to Rescue Contest. It was that connection between animals and people (especially rescue dogs) that inspired the establishment of our business. We welcome all dogs whether they are old, handicapped, fearful, or reactive. They can enjoy a safe and private facility to have fun while gaining confidence in the water. Here, you can create irreplaceable memories swimming and playing with your dog.
