This one is especially bittersweet…🥺

CGPH wants to wish a huge Congratulations to Lacey Krause on the purchase of Ima Cool Chocolate! Watch for Lacey & “Nono” in the L1 Youth All-around events, under the guidance of Miranda McIntosh.

Some horses leave a mark that lasts a lifetime. 🩶🍫

Nono has played an instrumental role in Melanie’s journey, helping shape not only the rider she is today, but the horsewoman she continues to become. The confidence, lessons, accomplishments, and memories they’ve shared are truly irreplaceable. Nono has also been an important part of CGPH’s success, and her impact on our program won’t soon be forgotten.

While we’ll miss her dearly, we couldn’t be happier knowing she has another young rider to teach, inspire, and grow with.

The best horses give us so much more than victories — they help make us who we are.

Thank you for everything, Nono. Now go make some more dreams come true! 🩶🦄

🏆2026 AAQH Congress🏆

Finally home and settled, and wanted to congratulate our team on a great Congress! Beyond the medallions, we had some really great rides, and a ton a progress was made! Huge thank you to the entire team that kept us fed and running smoothly for this marathon horse show - it takes a village, can’t wait for 2027!

Huge thank you to the Patterson Family for graciously offering “Nono” to our good friend Teah Kirby-Frazier, for her customer Cathy, to show in the EWD Walk Trot Showmanship as a last minute fill-in when her horse was unable to show. Cathy met Nono for the first time yesterday, and had a fantastic pattern this morning!

These type of friendships and fellowship are what make this crazy horse show community so special.

Day off tomorrow, then we hit the ground running Tuesday, we’ve only just begun! 🍀
