💔 MAUI IS BEING RETURNED TO RESCUE. PLEASE HELP US FIND HIM THE FOREVER HOME HE DESERVES. 🐾

After waiting so long to find his forever family, our sweet Maui was finally adopted. We celebrated, cried happy tears, and thought his days of waiting were over.

Unfortunately, Maui is being returned to Crisis Dogs NC. His adopter has shared that allergies and concerns about Maui needing more space have made the adoption unsustainable.

Our hearts are broken for this wonderful boy. 💔

Maui has done NOTHING wrong. He's still the same happy, loving, goofy dog we've always known.

And he deserves a family who will love him forever.

🐶 MEET MAUI!
🐾 1 year old | 47 lbs
🐕 Carolina Dog/Shepherd mix
🏡 House trained AND crate trained
🐶 LOVES other dogs!
👧 Wonderful with kids
🐱 No cats
⚡ Playful, medium-high energy
🚗 Fantastic car passenger
❤️ Huge cuddle bug!

Maui is pure sunshine on four paws! ☀️

He loves everyone he meets, adores playing with other dogs, and has the biggest, goofiest smile.

His ideal home has a securely fenced backyard where he can run and play, plus a playful doggie sibling to share adventures with!

He's an incredible adventure buddy who loves exploring, car rides, and spending time with his people. After the fun, he's ready for cuddles.

He's still polishing his leash manners, but he's smart, affectionate, and eager to please.

❤️ MAUI NEEDS SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HIM!

If you have a loving home, an active lifestyle, and room in your heart for this incredible boy, PLEASE SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TODAY!

You don't need to wait or message us first. Completing an application is the first step toward bringing Maui home!

🚨 URGENT: VANNAH NEEDS SOMEWHERE TO GO! PLEASE HELP! 💔🐾

We are urgently searching for a NEW FOSTER OR ADOPTER for Vannah, and we need your help NOW!

This sweet girl needs someone to open their home to her as soon as possible. We don't want Vannah facing more uncertainty when all she wants is a safe place and someone to love. 🥺

❤️ FOSTERING IS COMPLETELY FREE! ❤️

🐶 MEET VANNAH!
📍 Knightdale, NC (near Raleigh)
🐾 5 years old | 22 lbs | Chihuahua mix
🏡 Fully house-trained
🦮 Excellent leash manners
🚗 Loves car rides
🐶 Best as an only dog or with a submissive dog
👧 Adults or respectful teenagers preferred
🐱 Cats untested
🌳 No fenced yard required

Vannah is a devoted little shadow who wants to be wherever her favorite person is!

She loves walks, lounging beside you on the couch, and sleeping next to her human at night. She's sweet, loyal, and full of personality. ❤️

🏡 HER IDEAL HOME IS IMPORTANT!

Vannah has some separation anxiety and may cry when left alone. Because of this, she is NOT a good fit for apartments or condos.

She needs a HOUSE with someone home most of the time. Retirees, remote workers, or someone with a flexible schedule would be ideal!

She doesn't like being crated and would prefer a calm home where she can relax near her people.

🩺 Vannah takes daily medication for spinal arthritis. She may growl if picked up when uncomfortable, so she needs someone who respects her boundaries and handles her gently.

❤️ WE NEED SOMEONE TO STEP UP FOR VANNAH!

You don't have to adopt her forever to make a difference.

FOSTERING IS FREE! Crisis Dogs NC covers food, supplies, and veterinary care. You provide the safe, loving home she desperately needs.

🚨 PLEASE APPLY TODAY!

💔 ZERO APPLICATIONS. ZERO INTEREST. HOW IS THIS SWEET GIRL STILL WAITING?! 🐾

Meet KRISTINA, a 2-year-old, 37 lb Hound mix in Fountain, NC, with the happiest little gallop and a heart full of love! ❤️

She's sweet, playful, gentle, and absolutely adorable. Yet NOT ONE person has applied to adopt her. 🥹

We're hoping that changes TODAY!

🐾 WHY YOU'LL LOVE KRISTINA:
🏡 House trained (occasional excitement pees!)
🐶 Crate trained — loves her cozy space
❤️ Dog friendly — big AND small dogs!
🐱 Cat friendly
👧 Kids untested; respectful kids may be a fit
🎾 Medium energy — playful AND loves naps
🦮 Doing well with leash training
🌳 No fenced yard required
🦴 Loves toys, chew bones, treats & ICE CUBES! 😂

Kristina is the perfect mix of silly puppy energy and sweet, laid-back companionship.

She'll happily play with her foster siblings, explore the yard, or entertain herself with a favorite toy.

And when she's done? It's nap time! 😴

She's initially shy with strangers, especially men, but give her a little patience (and a few treats!) and you'll discover an affectionate, eager-to-please sweetheart.

❤️ A LITTLE ABOUT HER MEDICAL HISTORY:

Kristina is currently being treated for Ehrlichia and Rocky Mountain spotted fever after positive screening tests. She's shown no outward symptoms.

She also has an old, healed hip fracture but currently runs, plays, and moves comfortably! She takes a joint supplement, and limiting excessive stairs and high-impact activity as she ages may help protect her joints.

None of this has stopped Kristina from enjoying life!

What she needs now is someone willing to see beyond her medical history and recognize the wonderful companion she already is.

She doesn't need a perfect home. Just a loving one where she can finally belong. ❤️

📍 Fountain, North Carolina
🏡 APPLY TO ADOPT: https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog/kristina/

📣 PLEASE SHARE! Kristina has waited without a single application. Help us find the family who will finally choose HER!

💙 ZERO APPLICATIONS. ONE VERY SPECIAL HOUND WAITING FOR HIS PERSON. 🐾

Some dogs run straight into your arms. Others need time to learn that the world is safe.

Charleston is the second kind. 🥹

Meet Charleston, a 1-year-old, 42 lb Bluetick Hound mix in Roxboro, NC, who has received NO adoption interest. 💔

https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog/charleston/

This sweet, sensitive boy has had a difficult start, but he's slowly discovering how wonderful life can be when you're loved.

And he deserves a family of his own!

🐾 MEET CHARLESTON:
💙 1 year old | 42 lbs
🐶 Dog friendly — LOVES to play!
🏡 MUST have another friendly dog at home
🌳 Secure fenced yard REQUIRED
🐱 No cats — he will chase them
👧 Kids untested; gentle, respectful kids may be a fit
⚡ Medium energy
🦮 Working on potty and leash training
❤️ Shy, gentle & incredibly sweet

Charleston's biggest confidence booster? OTHER DOGS! 🐶

His sister Razzle has helped him learn to play, explore, and trust. They're not a bonded pair, but Charleston needs a friendly canine sibling to help him continue blossoming.

He's still nervous around unfamiliar situations and loud household noises. Even the washer and dryer can be scary!

He warms up more quickly to women but is making progress with men, too.

With patience, routine, and encouragement, this beautiful boy is learning to be brave.

🩺 Charleston is receiving treatment for Lyme Disease, paid for by Crisis Dogs NC.

Charleston doesn't need perfection.

He needs a patient family who will celebrate every little victory — his first confident tail wag, his first carefree adventure, and the day he finally realizes he's HOME. ❤️

📍 Roxboro, North Carolina
🏡 APPLY: https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog/charleston/

📣 PLEASE SHARE! Charleston's forever family might be one share away!
