A little MOUSE is in our house!! This little boy, now named MOUSE, was brought to us by a concerned citizen when she saw his poor tail had been degloved and he was being bullied by the other community cats. He looks to be about 3 months old and appears to be in fairly good shape considering whatever trauma he endured to create this injury. He will need to have his tail amputated to give him the best quality of life and hopefully after can be adopted into a wonderful home! If you can help us raise the money for the amputation, we can get this done for little MOUSE! THANK YOU ALWAYS!!

The babies are on the lookout for CANNED PATE and KITTEN FOOD DELIVERIES!! With almost 200 cats under our care, they eat A LOT!! We've got growing babies, old ladies and everything in between! Canned food gives them extra protein in their diets and also extra hydration during the HOT summer months... please shop our wishlists or you can have deliveries or drop off at the rescue. Remember Wilma? She is our famous paraplegic that runs across the room since she has been under the care of Dr. Kinga at VCA San Francis Animal Hospital at 16901 Shady Hills Rd. Spring Hill, Fl 34610. Well she developed a severe case of "ecoli" one that is resistant to just about all of the antibiotics that are available to felines...Not good, so she has been on two rounds of antibiotics, been shaved from her mid section to the mid portion of her tail because she is unable to groom herself properly. So we are going to try and get her IV Fluids and flush her bladder to see if that will help. Well this is not a cheap endeavor by any means requiring a week long stay in the hospital and a catheter placed in her bladder. She is a tough ole bird as they say and we are praying that this will do the trick. We are asking for donations directly to VCA for Wilma's care over the next couple of weeks. The estimate so far is attached and does not include any additional antibiotics if needed. On going urine cultures will also be necessary to ensure the treatment plan worked. So, let's help this little girl out. She is the sweetest baby and just loves to snuggle and looks up at you with those heart wrenching soulful eyes. Call VCA at 352-848-0940 if you can help.
