I personally do not blanket unless:

Frigid temps
Wet and below freezing
Ill or underweight
High winds on a cold day

Why? My horses have access to hay 24/7, supplemented with low-sugar feed, have shelter, easy keepers with thick coats, and are not clipped.

Find out if you should blanket. My go to blanket is just a sheet with higher neck and a tail flap.

Looking good for no rain this week = catch up on blankets. These pop-up storms are terrible because I don’t want to hang blankets on the fence to dry and then see them blowing down the street. Laticia Lord, yours are up next...just so dang many of them, girl.

We are booked for the next few weeks FYI.

Sorry for the delay in returning blankets. These pop up storms are hampering my schedule. I don’t want to risk storms damaging anyone’s blankets while they are drying.

Anyone interested in vaccination services? I am a vet tech. I can inject IM vaccines for you if you are afraid to do it yourself. Let me know. Would be best for the backyard horse vs show horse that needs proof of vaccines.

I just did my 3 (Encephalitis {3 forms}, west nile, tetanus, botulism, strangles). Flu and rhino available, too. Farm visit charges apply and I can grab dirty blankets while there :)
