BELLA

This 2 year old Golden Retriever is with us for our 4 week Obedience Program. She is learning heel, here and place on leash and off leash on the ecollar. We are working on being handled/groomed and building her confidence. She just wants all the love and attention! We also trained her housemate Murphy!

SUMMER and MAX

These two sibling are with us for our 4 week Obedience Program. They’re learning heel, here and place on leash and off leash on the ecollar. Summer and Max completed our puppy program and that has given them a solid foundation. They both love training and are a joy to have!

HONEYBUN

This 6 month old mini Goldendoodle is with us for our 3 week Obedience Program. She is learning heel, here, place, sit and down with an implied stay on the leash. We are also working on not jumping, busting through doorways and socialization. She super fluffy and sweet like her name ;)

aka cutie pie. This 1 year old GSD/husky is with us for our 2 week Obedience Program. She is learning heel and place on leash. We are also working on overall manners, impulse control and possessing mom from her housemate. She reminds Trey of his sled dog days. She is full of energy and s***k!

TANGO

This 1.5 year old Boxer was with us for our 2 week Obedience Program (I’m late posting). He learned to heel and place on leash. We also worked on overall manners and impulse control. He is so loving, lots of s***k and very willing to please!

This 8 month old Weimaraner is with us for our 4 week obedience program. He is learning heel, here and place on leash and off leash. We are also working on overall manners, impulse control, excessive barking and crate training. He is full of energy, very smart and such a handsome boy!

Our fall hunt test season came to a close 2 weeks ago and we never made an official post with our titles. So here we go…

“Candlewoods Rockin to the Maxx” MH
Huey came to us to finish out his Master Title. He needed his line manners cleaned up and once we did that he finished strong. He is an extremely talented dog! Also, very proud of him and his owner getting a Master pass together!

“Katian’s Red River Roux” SH
Miss Roux went from a gundog washout from another trainer to a Senior Hunter. We are so proud of all the hard work she has put in and all she has overcame!

“Mama’s Ready to Rumble” SH
Pacha went crushed her senior tests and looking forward to running her in Master! We are proud of her!

“Drake XXIV” JH
Drake is a very talented marker and made the tests look easy! We are very proud of how clean he retrieved each bird.

A huge thank you to each judge, club, member, worker and anyone who put time into these tests 🤍

Thought we would share a natural or holistic approach to heeling. We recently had a dog that got some wounds on his leg and the owner recommended an Epsom salt compress or soak. This method worked wonders! The dog has 2 decent size cuts on his foot and some swelling. Within 3 days of doing a compress or soak 3x a day for 15-20 mins we saw amazing results. Even after every soak we would see the swelling would go down.

Epsom salt can provide pain relief, reduce swelling, help kill bacteria and aid in faster heeling.

Highly recommend and will be using this method in the future! Hope it can help someone else!

WINNIE

This 6 month old Portuguese Water Dog is with us for our 2 week obedience program. She is learning heel and place on leash. We are also working on overall manners and building confidence. She loves playing with the other dogs, has lots of s***k and enjoys training!

This almost 2 year old mixed breed is with us for our 2 week obedience program. She is learning heel and place on leash. We are also working on overall manners such as not busting through doorways, excessive barking and building confidence. Fun fact, we trained her littermate Max as well! She is very sweet, loves to be with people and very smart!
