The Celtic Cat, LLC has been fostering a very special boy for SFC Virginia that will be available for adoption this weekend!

Oxnard has been through a lot in his very short lifetime but he’s now ready for his future forever home.

Oxnard arrived a month ago as an underweight, flea-infested, six week old, one pound kitten with severe eye infections in both eyes that caused both eyes to painfully rupture. After two weeks of medical care and pain management, Ox was strong enough for surgery, had a double enucleation and was neutered.

This boy is microchipped, dewormed, negative for FeLV/FIV, and has received age appropriate vaccines. He will come with his playpen for the transition in to his new home. He’s brave around other cats and dogs and loves nothing more than belly scratches and playing with a towel.

Dustin is a nine week old kitten looking for his forever home. When he first arrived Dustin had a severe head tilt (see photo in comments) that has obviously since resolved! Dustin is an active, fun loving guy that loves to play, purr and eat. He also loves to play with other cats.

He is neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and has received age appropriate vaccines.

Unfortunately, feral cat complaints are at the top of calls to animal control. The best way to reduce this is through effective spay and neuter in community cat populations.
