Training:
We offer customizable training program packages to suit you and your dogs specific needs. The goal to give you the keys to unlock your dogs potential and become your dogs best teacher as you learn how to instill confidence and calm in everyday ways. While your away:
We offer a small number of canine to come and stay while you're away. It's not like other places as we have your dog become one of the family, complete with integrating and learning household expectations as well as how to dog in socialization settings. 🆘PICHU JUST COLLAPSED🆘
Our little hospice girl who had the inguinal hernia surgery repair earlier this year.. 💝
We need to get her into the vet tonight at 5:30! We know she has trachea issues and who knows what else going on.. but we are going to get a quality of life once over.. She stopped breathing when she collapsed but came to after about 20 seconds. She still seems rather out of it.. Right now everything is guarded.. 😞💔😭

Oliver is a two year old hound mix who has been working with Smarty Paws Canine College LLC to become an even better good boy! Oliver is good with other dogs and would probably do best in a country setting. He just doesn't enjoy the city vibe. Apply for Oliver at www.louisahumanesociety.com.

Mutuality with Man's Best Friend

Yesterday was full of amazing breakthroughs with clients from Richmond all the way to the Greater DC. Area. Though our Perfectly Imperfect Pups Program 5 different families with dogs that up until now have been struggling with emotional regulation got to chose calm and joy instead of stress and worry.

I am here to support dogs and their humans to be the best version of themselves.

Both get to clarify expectations and then cue off of each other what will support them in that goal.

This creates healthy dialogs of where everyone is emotionally in each new situation.

This is what I am here to mentor and create with my Canine Training Partner.. and the world.
Mutually is the goal.

Zeeva is one great pooch and we know someone is going to be super lucky to have her. This girl walks well on a leash, waits nicely for food, shops in stores politely with her foster mom, and appreciates a good pup cup. Zeeva is being fostered with Smarty Paws Canine College LLC and it's not often we can offer a dog for adoption with a lot of professional training behind them.
