This is a long time friend, Ronda Swanson. If anyone is ever in need of an amazing Realtor, she'd fit the bill! We appreciated her plug for us today.πŸ’•πŸ‘

The first section of the pergola that will become our check out station are up! Lots more to come! Meanwhile, there are still lots of blueberries in the field. The Blue Crop are tasting pretty good (they are one of my favorite!) There are still lots of Duke also.

We started the day the other day with a gift of a huge jar of raspberry jam from Mike and Karen. I can't believe Karen made all that jam post foot surgery, but wow! What a delicious gift! We get up so early and usually end up eating dinner around 9:00 or 10:00 so having that amazing jam on a piece of toast each morning is a perfect way to start the day. ❀️THEN Dave and Joy showed up on Wednesday. They brought us blueberry cream pie for breakfast (yes, you read that right!).πŸ₯§ Oh my! It was as heavenly as Dave has always described it! Thank you, Joy! That made our entire day joyous! Then Kathy showed up with canned cherries and raspberry freezer jam. You are all spoiling us rotten!!πŸ’ When I say how amazing our customers are, see what I mean! We love you guys!

What amazing customers we have. Yes, that is you! We've been non-stop busy and we love it that we are. Our official open hours are 7-noon every day, but we live here so if you need hours after that, just let us know. It's not a problem unless we post otherwise or the closed sign is at the gate. There are still quite a few Dukes in the field for Sunday. We're trying to get the Blue Crop field ready for picking. The bushes in the BC field are quite a bit younger so there aren't as many berries there but they are so sweet it's worth hunting for them.

It's a wrap on the raspberries! Thank you to everyone who came from near and even very far to pick out of our big patch. Hopefully next year our 2nd patch will be producing and that patch is even bigger than the original. Best of all, it will produce after the first patch so our raspberry season should be extended. Here are some of the beautiful creations made by our customers this season. I dont think there is a smell more luscious than fresh raspberries. Can you smell these jars of beautiful jam? On to blueberries we go!!🫐

We would have opened for picking today, but this is happening! We are getting a new check-out area created. After the concrete cures, a big pergola is going up. It should be a bit nicer than a Harbor-Freight carport! 🩡 See you tomorrow for big, fat berries!!

Otherwise, just c'mon and we'll give you a bucket. There are still lots of raspberries also and we will keep them at the reduced price.

Raspberries are on sale at $4.50/lb all week through Sunday in celebration of the RED, white and blue. These are on my agenda! Raspberry Sweet Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing - Sally's Baking Addiction

If there's one treat that can beat cinnamon rolls, it's these indulgently soft and flaky raspberry sweet rolls. Use frozen raspberries.

Look who was hiding in the raspberry patch! They were helping their mom, Abby, who picked 4 lbs in an hour this evening in the cool air. How cute are those grins?

It's 4th of July week and that means family picnics and BBQ's with luscious red, white and blue desserts! While the blues are still ripening (probably another week and a half), we have plenty of red! On sale this week for your 4th of July desserts. Through the weekend raspberries are $4.50/lb. We picked last night after 7:00 and after we sprinkled the patch. It was so cool out there. We're flexible on times. Just let us know when you want to come so we don't schedule too many people in our narrow rows at once. Picture was taken last night. (And yes, you can come in the evenings, too!)

Not only did Scott drive all the way over from Idaho TWICE to pick a TON of raspberries, then he went home and started on his real work of art. THIS! His first batch of many! Thanks, Scott for visiting the farm. There are still loads of delicious raspberries out there! Call to come early or late (or whenever in between) to beat the heat.
