A little cattery update from me. 🤍
One thing I’ve been learning lately is that I can deeply love what I do and still create boundaries around it.
I genuinely LOVE talking with you guys. I love answering questions, sending kitten updates, sharing my babies, getting to know the families who will eventually love them, and probably talking about Sphynx cats way longer than anyone asked me to. 😂💕 This cattery is incredibly special to me.
But I’m also a wife and a mama, and before any of those things, I belong to God. 🤍
As my cattery has grown, I’ve realized how easy it is for messages, notifications, photos, updates, and the constant feeling that I need to respond right away to spill into every part of my day. I never want something I love so much to take away from the people God has entrusted to me.
So I’m creating a little more intentionality around my time. 🥰
Going forward, my normal cattery hours will be Monday through Saturday, approximately 10 AM to 2 PM. Outside of those hours, I may still pop on, post pictures, or respond when I have extra time, but I’m giving myself permission to leave messages until the next day and be fully present with my family.
And on Sundays, I’ll be completely away from cattery messages and will return Monday. 🤍
Sunday is going to be protected time for God, church, family, rest, and continuing to grow in my faith.
I know we live in a world where we’ve gotten used to having nearly instant access to one another, especially when doing business online. But I also believe the best version of me as a breeder comes from making sure I’m taking care of the things that matter most first.
My kittens will still receive around the clock care, of course. 😂💕 They didn’t agree to business hours.
Thank you for loving my little cattery, loving my babies, trusting me with your future family members, and allowing me to share pieces of my life with you along the way.
I want Laikin’s Purrfect Sphynx to always feel personal. Not like you’re purchasing a kitten from a business, but like you’re joining this little family I’ve built with so much love. 🤍🐾
God first. Family second. And lots of little naked babies mixed in between. 🥰
