We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing Spokane community. The outpouring of support for the dogs rescued from a hoarding and breeding situation has been incredible. Your donations are helping provide comfort, care, and a fresh start for these deserving pups.
We are proud to be a donation drop-off location for both pets and people in need. Yesterday alone, we received a generous donation of clothing and blankets for our local homeless community, and we are so grateful for every person who continues to give.
We are still accepting donations, including: 🐶 Dog food (especially needed right now) 🦴 Dog beds 🥣 Food and water bowls 🧴 Cleaning supplies 🛏️ Towels and blankets 🐾 Pet supplies of all kinds

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing Spokane community for the incredible generosity you have shown.

Over the past week, many of you have stopped by with donations to help dogs recently rescued from a hoarding and breeding situation out of Idaho. Your kindness and willingness to help has been overwhelming, and we are truly grateful for every bag of food, towel, blanket, bed, toy, and supply that has been donated.

These dogs are now receiving care through SpokAnimal and their fosters, and there is still a significant need for dog food. If you would like to help, donations of dog food are especially appreciated at this time.

We are continuing to accept donations of:
🐾 Dog food
🐾 Towels and blankets
🐾 Dog beds
🐾 Food and water bowls
🐾 Cleaning supplies
🐾 Toys and treats
🐾 Any other pet-related supplies

River City Grooming is proud to serve as a donation drop-off location for both pets and people in need. In addition to pet supplies, we also accept clothing, blankets, and other items for members of our homeless community. Yesterday alone, we received a large donation of clothing and blankets that will help make a difference for those facing difficult circumstances.

We are incredibly fortunate to live in a community that consistently comes together to support animals and people when they need it most. Thank you for helping us help others.

For the last two days, our team has been helping care for these dogs, providing grooming, comfort, and a safe place while they begin their journey toward healing.
There is news information about them from Idaho, more information to check out about these guys.

We're reaching out to our incredible community for help with a few supplies:

We know times are tough, and we understand not everyone can donate. Sharing this post is just as appreciated. The more people who see it, the more support these dogs can receive.

This is not something we typically do, but we are reaching out to our community with humility and hope. One of my close friends and employees and their two young children are in urgent need of safe, stable housing and must relocate quickly due to circumstances beyond our control.

If you or someone you know has any leads on a 2–3 bedroom rental, private landlord, mother-in-law unit, or upcoming availability in the Spokane area (or surrounding areas), we would be incredibly grateful. We are responsible, quiet, working parents who deeply value stability and safety for our kids.

We know this is a big ask, and we truly appreciate even shares, messages, or ideas. Thank you for being such a supportive community—your kindness means more than you know.

Walk-in hours now from 9:30-1:30 daily & appointment required outside of walk-in hours
Over the last few months we’ve downsized, regrouped, reorganized, and are now growing again meeting our mission. As we navigate through these changes we are striving to best serve you and your pups as efficiently as we can which has made for some confusing walk-in procedures. Our staff here are made up of seasoned groomers and are confident in the last change to the walk in hours that we’ll make for a long time 🤞thank you all for your continued support!

Today’s Nail Trims are from 11-2pm
We are accepting same day bath and grooming services!
$10 walk in nail trims vary each week day, and Saturday and Sunday is from 9-1pm. We will post on Facebook, the front window, and our voicemail recording each week day for that days nail trim availability. There may be a short wait time when you arrive depending on how busy we are.
For same day request please call the salon 509-505-4094, if we do not answer please leave a voicemail and come in even if you don’t hear from us and we will do our best to service your needs.
