Fall photos are forever some of my favorites and I’m a little sad we only have a few weeks we have left before the snow comes 🍂 If you have a session coming up here are some of my fave tips!!!!

👉 Move! The best shots happen mid-laugh, mid-spin, mid-chase — don’t worry about perfect poses.
👉 Layer up in textures (knits, denim, flannel) — and choose simple colors that won’t clash against the golds/oranges of fall.
👉 And most importantly, let the moment be real — the smiles, the wind, the mess of it all.

Include your animals.

If you’re wondering if your dog should be part of your engagement photos, or if your horse should be in some wedding shots, or even if your cows would make a great addition to your family shoot, the answer is YES!

I’m a little bit biased because I love animals so much, but the truth is, when you surround yourself with love, that comes through in your photos. And what better expression of unconditional love than the love of the animals that you pour so much into.

If you’ve been on the fence, I hope this gives you the push you need to include your animals in your photos. Let’s figure out a way to get you beautiful shots that you get to cherish for a lifetime.

I love doing post wedding sessions!!!

Raylyn + Ryan eloped a few years ago but never got to take any photos because they were sent overseas right after. So when they reached out to do some wedding photos I was so excited! It was so fun seeing them put back on their fancy clothes and I’m glad they finally get to have their dream wedding photos 🫶

Let’s run away together! Let’s go to the mountains, the salt flats, the river, another country!

Let’s take you, the love of your life, and maybe a couple of your favorite people and get you married in a place that feels like magic.

I love all sorts of weddings, but I’d be lying if I said that elopements didn’t hold a really special place in my heart. There is something so special about the intimacy and simplicity of an elopement. I’m always happy to join you on an adventure that ends in you saying “I do”. So whether that’s your own backyard or a cliffside in Ireland, count me in as your professional third-wheel.

Capturing Devyn and Victors elopement was such a joy. They chose to do something small but the day was filled with so much meaning and intention. Victors family has a cabin on lake Coeur D’Alene where they did a short ceremony on the dock, after saying “I Do” we all climbed aboard and boated to Harrison. Every spot we went to and took pictures at holds special meaning to them.

My favorite part of the day was when we went to the wishing well and Devyn asked “am I allowed to tell you what I wished for now that it came true?” Literally a freakin movie scene!!!

Needless to say, it was such an amazing day and I love this job so much 🫶

Here’s to more weddings that end in jumping into the lake 💦

Your wedding day gets to be whatever YOU want it to be! You’re allowed to jump in the lake in your wedding outfits! You’re allowed to have 3 outfit changes! You’re allowed to have a pinata, or an ice cream sundae bar, or serve 5 kinds of mac and cheese! You’re allowed to do anything at all that feels right for you as a couple.

The reason I love when things like this happen at weddings is because it means that my couple was having the very best time. It means they were doing whatever felt right to them. And I can’t think of a better way to celebrate your love story than being 100% true to who you are as a couple.

Hi there! Thanks for checking out my page, I’m so happy you’re here! If you didn’t already know, I’m Brooke. I am located in Spokane, Washington and I’ve been shooting for years now as a hobby.
