Introducing Kapena! This post is a hard one for me to make, as he’s my personal bird, but it’s best for him if he can find a new forever home.

Kapena is a male TurquoiseBlue Indian Ringneck, hatched in 2022. I originally got him with the prospect of breeding him, but after two females rejecting him I decided to see if he could make any friends in my flock, but unfortunately he gets bullied by almost everyone. After taking over the store, I wanted to try him out as a store bird. The first two days he did great, then he turned on me and fly attacks my head any chance he gets. Once he hit maturity, he decided he didn’t like me anymore and since then our relationship has been rocky. However, my boyfriend took him to work with him for a few weeks and he never got bit or lunged at. He would have kept him if his conure got along with him, but she didn’t like him unfortunately. He is very sweet once he decides he trusts you, and he loves to talk to everyone. He’s a typical ringneck and isn’t snuggly and doesn’t like to be pet, but he steps up and sits on a shoulder happily. He must remain fully flighted, he LOVES to fly laps around a room. He does really well outside of a cage and stays out of things he shouldn’t get into. He has a decent vocabulary and likes to give kisses. I’d like him to go to someone who is a regular customer so I can still get updates on him, I love him but he hates me, and it’s selfish for me to keep him in the aviary when he deserves a whole house to fly around!

Feel free to come meet him in person and talk more about him and if he’d be a good fit for you. I’ll be pretty picky about where he goes, and we of course require applications and multiple visits before we make a decision. We just got his new round of disease testing back which is all clear, so he’s officially ready for a new chapter in his life!

Introducing Bowser!

Bowser is a 4 year old male cinnamon whiteface pied cockatiel who was dumped on one of our friends’ front porch. We later found a craigslist post for the same bird saying his age. Thankfully we had space to take him on. We’ve got him onto our Matcha’s mix and have him DNA and disease tested, he’s all healthy and ready to find his new forever home! He’s shy of hands and hasn’t stepped up willingly for us, but when he’s out he loves to sit on a shoulder. I know with a bit of target training and millet that he will be stepping up in no time! Unfortunately whoever had him last chopped the feathers on only one wing, so he’s not able to currently fly and crash lands. He’s overall pretty quiet but likes to make kissy noises.

Feel free to come in and meet little Bowser in person! We require applications and 2-3 visits before we seriously consider someone’s application. Whoever ends up with him will have to spoil him rotten, he deserves it!

Are you looking for a small quiet companion bird? We have just the thing! We have a female lutino Lineolated parakeet and a female standard budgie available for deposits. Both species are on the quieter side and can do well in an apartment setting, but of course, please make sure birds are allowed first!

I’ll include their mutations and band numbers under each picture. They’ll be sent home with their parents disease test results and the oldest sibling in their clutches test results along with their own DNA results!

This little man hit the jackpot with his family! They wanted to go big or go home, so we got him a large flight cage and filled it full of toys and perches!

We offer to build and set up cages for a small additional fee. Give us your budget and we will set it up for the species you’re getting!

Bird is officially here at the store and looking for his new forever home!

Bird is a male Blue Fronted Amazon, about 25 years old. He is overall a very quiet Amazon, we haven’t heard him scream once, he just makes quiet noises every once in a great while. He’s a very laid back bird and prefers to keep to himself. He isn’t overly social and doesn’t like to step up, but he isn’t outwardly aggressive either. His old owner said that he would occasionally crawl on the floor to perch on his foot and would allow pets on his own terms, so we know in a calmer environment and with time to build trust, he could become a lot more handleable. He may have a preference for men, but hasn’t shown outward aggression towards women either. Bird would be happiest in a calm environment where he can be let out to perch on his cage or a stand. He doesn’t seem to be outwardly aggressive to other birds either, as long as they keep their distance and are respectful to him. He came to us on an all seed and nut diet, but we have since gotten him onto our much healthier Basil’s Mix, and he loves it! Because of this, seeds and nuts are a much higher value reward now. He would be a great candidate for target training to help build his confidence and build trust with his owner.

If you’d like to come in to meet Bird in person, feel free to stop by anytime during open hours! We will require an application and multiple visits before we place him. He comes with his cage and will be sent with his DNA and disease paperwork as well.

We still have four baby lovebirds that are fully weaned and ready to fly the nest to their forever families! Lovebirds aren’t known for generally bonding with multiple people in a household, but with proper socialization it’s always a possibility. We don’t usually recommend them to families with young children, but have made exceptions in the past. If you’re looking for a little shoulder companion to ride around with you, a lovebird may be the perfect fit!

I’ll include species, mutation, DNA, band number and info about each birds personality under their pictures. All babies will be sent home with their DNA results along with both parents disease tests and the oldest sibling in the clutches test results. Feel free to message us any questions!

These crimson bellied conures are just too sweet for their own good! We still have three available, two boys and a girl. They’re fully flighted and very confident with their wings, they’re go go go all the time! Once they settle down they love snuggles too though. I expect them to be weaned and ready to go home in about 3-4 weeks, maybe a bit sooner. If you’re looking for a bird that wants to do everything you’re doing, a crimson belly may be the perfect fit!
