My petsitting goal with 14 year old Ellie, is to focus on giving her a comfortable, quiet environment and administering her regular anxiety and pain meds. Ellie has a medical condition called GOLPP. Here is a description of what it is.
Geriatric Onset Laryngeal Paralysis and Polyneuropathy (GOLPP) is a progressive nerve degeneration that affects older, large-breed dogs. It causes laryngeal paralysis and generalized peripheral neuropathy, impacting the nerves that control throat muscles and airflow. She is a real trooper with a sweet heart.

A fun petsitting assignment for the Becerra Family! Meet Mistee who is a youngster at 13 and her sister Mistee age 3 .A fun time playing ball with Mia and carrying Mistee throughout the house. Mistee has Cushing’s disease. This is a progressive pituitary disorder that occurs when the body produces too much cortisol, a stress-related hormone. The good news is this little girl is still enjoying everyday❤️

I love seeing animals happy and safe...

I’ve always had pets in my life, as a child, it started was a black Persian cat and throughout the years have raised: dogs, cats, fish, birds, hamsters, rabbits, and assisted my daughter with her horses and goats. When I’m away, I need someone who I can trust and rely on in taking care of my beloved furry babies. I want to know that my animals are happy, safe and are receiving the same love I would give them.

I started my work career as a Certified Medical Assistant, then received a Bachelor’s in Human Services, and my last title was a Human Resources Generalist. As I approached my 50’s, I felt it was time to leave Corporate America and follow my passion of serving others.

I have always been the “Lean On Person” to help family, friends and neighbors with child care, senior care and of course with pet sitting! In 2017, my husband Frank and I moved from Yorba Linda, CA to Spokane Valley, WA. While settling into our new home, I decided to follow my passion and start doing part-time pet sitting for my community.

Welcome to Lean On Jean Pet Sitting! My service includes day, overnight and weekly care. I primarily work in Spokane, WA, but do travel to clients homes in the states of: CA, FL, ID. My greatest compliment was when a client flew me to Switzerland for three weeks to pet sit her amazing Golden Retriever! My clientele is small so I can provide quality care with feeding, playing, snuggling and comforting them. I love spending time with all breeds and personalities and am happy to give their owners the pleasure of having a worry free vacation!
