Pistol Annie, for those not familiar is a rescue pony that came from a kill lot. I have had her in my care for a little over 2 years. She came to me at 3-4 years old, moon blindness, they had even tried to breed the girl.
She was wild as fire when she came to me hence the name pistol. She has came a long way in such a short time. She used to run from people now enjoys nothing more than following me and showing her excitement.
Every year I ask for donations to help with her care. The shots for her eyes are very expensive and will not stop the blindness so we stock up on anti inflammatory eye drops to help with discomfort. She needs a farrier 4 times a year and also needs her teeth worked on. Any extra donations help with her grooming, feed and anything else she may need. The man that had cared for her during my move changed her diet and gave her wet feed and hay , which caused a lot of issues, in 2 months her weight had dropped significantly. I got her wormed and her feed is correct again but it’s taking a little more to help get her weight back.

Today the animals will be moved to their new homes. I’m fortunate that they will remain together, but still very sad. Pistol Annie and Idggy is not joining them they will remain with me.

I am starting a fundraiser for pistol Annie. The money will be used to pay for her transportation to the temporary property where I will be housing her, a farrier, and to have her teeth floated. The goal is $300.00 I appreciate all the help, love and support you guys have shown my farm, but most important the rescues.

Due to my main page being banned for 2 back to back 30 day periods I haven’t been able to update everyone. My fundraiser was shut down due to my ban. I am in Dire need of help raising money to buy land for the rescue animals. They are safe temporarily but that is only for 6 months. If you would like to help please pm me. Thank y’all ❤️

Most of my chickens (chicks and a few adults were attacked and killed at the property they are at now. Pony will be on her way soon!

The farm has a few chicks available. These are some pretty birds. I’ll take pictures and post them once I figure out my keepers. I may also let go of a few black sexlink biddies.
We have 2 pot bellied pigs available.
Female, 10 months old. Social.

Later in the fall I will have some beautiful rabbits available.

Blueberries have been plentiful and done really great this year, looking forward to making jam/ jelly. It was a great success last year and absolutely delicious.

Upcoming harvests will be peaches, pears, green beans, okra, pumpkin, onions, carrots and squash.

Pistol decided adventure was on the menu this morning. She busted out of her fence and headed down to the end of the road to meet a beautiful proud cut, she got to spend a few hours with him before she went back on lock down. She busted her hooves, she isn’t shoe’d never has been but had never been on the road either. I’m gonna try to fix her hooves today. All in all I’m grateful she is safe and not too beat up. I also want to say, it made me so proud that she came right to me and didn’t run ❤️
