It's here, the end of this season. Tomorrow will be the very last day. I thought I would be sad, but God always reminds us why we've made the right choice. I walked into this text, I've groomed this dog for 10 years. I wasn't going to torture the poor old guy 😞 This has been my entire career in this field. The amount of skill, patience and heart I've put into this... I typically wouldn't share something like this, but so many simply don't understand what it's like. This is why. It's been a decade of this. Thank you to the few that have been so kind and appreciative. I truly can't thank you enough 💜

Heavy post, the end of an Era. Foxy Mutts is closing indefinitely. The reasons are plentiful, yet irrelevant. I appreciate all of you that have been by my side from the very beginning. The compassion, understanding, and loyalty you've shown me has been insurmountable. I've thought and prayed tirelessly, ultimately this is where I've landed. I love you and the babies you've shared with me, and always will. Before I get to sobbing... Our last day grooming will be June 18th. We appreciate your continued support until then, but understand if you would like to go ahead to a new groomer. I have contacted Keller's K-9s, they are accepting new clients and will take my guys on with open arms.

To answer some questions I know you'll have...

*I will be staying home with my sweet Sunny girl, and cannot wait for my new career as Sunny's SAHM.
*Mary will be going back to her roots as a preschool teacher.
*I have considered opening a small, home based shop, but will definitely take a few months to think on that more.

*Only clients with recurring appointments will be seen
( If you keep your dogs scheduled this is you!!!)

*All appointments cancelled/reschedule less than 48 hours in advance will be charged for said appointment in order to reschedule. If you do not wish to do this, you will no longer be considered a client with recurring appointments.

* We are a small, two person business. Our hours are not set. We are only there when we have appointments.

*If you have questions or concerns please comment below or text 812-585-9664. Phone calls don't typically get returned, the shop is loud, and I don't want to be working after hours. If you have/do contact us sometimes it takes a few days to hear back. Limiting to regular clients should help a ton with this.

Happy New Year! 2024 will look different for us. Rescheduling and cancellations will come with charges and fees. 2023 left us in the negative, I never brought home a paycheck. This will change or we will have to close our doors. Please respect the fact that this is a small business. I am understanding to a fault, and this has hurt us terribly. I have to be less personal and more professional. Thank you for understanding. Wish us luck and good fortune in this new year 💜
