Our next Police K9 Handler School begins August 17, 2026. Open to law enforcement and security K9 teams. We cover important aspects to become an elite team such as proper handling skills (and methods to avoid), obedience work for a K9 under control, tactical trailing, safe and legal apprehensions, K9 case law, emergency first aid, up-to-date detection methods for successful deployments, and much more! Indiana teams receive documented training hours via ILEA. Teams from outside the state receive certificate of completion. More information in the link below.
We also have nearly-finished K9s available for departments who are in need of a solid K9 companion.

Life is better with a well-trained dog! But you can't just wave a magic wand and expect it to happen. If you want a well-trained dog, become a well-trained human. Put in the time and effort required to communicate clearly with your dog, explain boundaries, let the dog be a dog, and enable him to express of his genetic makeup. All of this makes for a happy dog and, in return, a happy dog person.

Our boy Venom getting a solid bite on the suit (as always). He will soon be finishing up his police K9 training in apprehension, trailing, and detection. He's very strong...just like his parents (Wasa x Thiago). Here, he just ran over a catwalk, over an A-frame, and through a window to get to the decoy. Handled here by Lily and decoyed by Emma, both Master Trainer students in our dog trainer school.

Two of our GSD backcross pups just received their DNA testing results. Both Wizard (pictured) and Wolf are clear of every health issue that Embark tests for. Both have low COI (17% and 12% respectively) and high MHC gene diversity. While many of our pups have similar testing results, we are always eager to see the progress of this amazing breed through vigorous, proactive, modern breeding practices. We are obviously happy with the results of our breeding program: producing strong working ability, environmental stability, solid health, and stable temperaments.
