🚫 Think twice before reaching for that bottle of blue dish soap! 🚫

While it might seem like a quick fix, washing your pets with dish soap can lead to skin irritation and other health problems. Remember, a product designed to cut through tough grease can be very harsh on your pet's sensitive skin.

If you're dealing with fleas, there are gentler and safer ways to tackle them! Consider this natural approach:

Give your dog a bath with a specialized pet shampoo designed for fleas and ticks.
Wash all pet bedding in hot water to eliminate any lingering fleas or eggs.
Thoroughly vacuum your home to pick up any remaining fleas and their eggs.

Defining Doberman.

At Jackson’s Kennel our passion for dogs runs deep and life-long. We see breeding dogs as a privilege and an honor taking great pride in each generation we produce. We aspire to bring sound, balanced dogs that define the breed standard. We breed to the AKC standard, with the FCI standards kept second. Our focus is on pedigree diversity, low COI, full spectrum health, and temperament. Every dog in our care is promised the absolute, utmost respect and care we can offer. All our breeding dogs have full health testing done prior to and during breeding including echos, genetics, eye exams, hip certifications, and general health. The health, happiness and welfare of our pets and litters is priority.

We screen our buyers carefully. A Doberman is a high energy, intelligent breed with potential to be stubborn and hard to handle; they are not a one-breed-fits-all. While they are easy to train they require a lot of dedication and stimulation. They can be destructive when board and nervous if not socialized well. A Doberman should be confident but aloof with strangers, attentive, loyal and protective but never reactive or aggressive. Doberman can be large, often exceeding 70-80 lbs. They should be lean and muscular, with tight skin that glides over their ribs. The should be medium built, not over-sized, as well as fit and not overweight.

All our dogs are indoor pets. Puppies are birthed indoors and supervised at all times. Puppies start early neurological stimulation from the moment they are born. Once all puppies have their ears and eyes have opened we begin desensitization to a plethora of sounds, textures, images and exposures. Every puppy leaves AKC registered, with a 2 year health guarantee, lifetime breeder support, and with a take-home bag. All puppies are sold vetted; worming, vaccines, nail trims, flea and tick prevention, and heartworm prevention. Vaccines are NOT optional. Should you not be able to keep you J.K.’s Doberman we will take back any dog we bred and/or sold no matter what. We take care of our own, no matter the circumstances.

Visits are welcomed. Our home is available for viewing upon request. We are an active family with children. All viewings must be scheduled at least 24 hrs in advance. A current state or government issued ID may be requested prior to viewing approval. Pictures and videos of our dogs, home and whelping room/nursery are available on our website and upon request.
