🚨WOW: During the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, young Mateo was reportedly trapped beneath the rubble in complete darkness. His faithful Golden Retriever, Max, stayed right by his side without moving an inch. He wrapped his warm body around the child, shielding him from the cold and fear as the world seemed to crumble around them.

Hours later, rescuers’ flashlights cut through the debris. They found an unforgettable scene: the boy resting peacefully, held close by a dog whose eyes showed exhaustion but also unbreakable resolve.

Max had completed his duty. He never abandoned his post. In that instant, amid the dust and emotions, it was evident that the real hero possessed golden fur and a heart full of endless love.

Because of their courage, we are able to enjoy moments with our families, laugh with our friends, and live freely every day.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a reminder of the cost of freedom and the heroes who gave everything for this country.

✨ Big News x2 from our little pack! ✨

First, we are so excited to officially introduce everyone to Piper! 🐾
Piper is a beautiful brindle longhaired miniature dachshund and the newest addition to both our family and breeding program. She has already fit in perfectly and keeps us smiling every single day. We cannot wait for everyone to watch her grow and be part of her journey! 🤎

Second, I’m excited to share that I’ve recently made a career change! I’m now fortunate enough to work from home, which means I get to spend so much more time with all of my fur babies — exactly where my heart is happiest. 🏡🐶

This season of life feels full of growth, gratitude, and wagging tails, and I’m so thankful for all the love and support along the way. 🤍

I know we’ve been a little quiet on here lately, and I wanted to share why. During this Lenten season, we’ve taken a step back to slow down, reflect, and refocus. With the busyness of our pups and everyday life, it felt important to pause and remember that none of this would be possible without God’s blessings.

This time has meant a lot to our family, but we’ve missed connecting with all of you. We’re so incredibly thankful for each of our “furever” families and the love you give to the pups we raise.

We’re excited to start sharing more again soon and bring you along on everything happening here at Irlbeck Farms 🤍

What is love?

How about flying straight into 60 mph wind gusts to get your puppy? ✈️🌪️

Because that’s exactly what Penny Sue Lynn’s new momma did.

In the middle of that awful Amarillo windstorm — with fires across the panhandle and the sky looking like something out of a movie — she flew in from South Carolina without hesitation to pick up her baby girl.

That’s love.

Sweet Penny Sue Lynn has officially headed to her forever home in South Carolina. While she will be greatly missed here (my heart is definitely feeling it), I know without a doubt she just landed herself the very best momma ever.

When someone is willing to brave Texas winds to bring their puppy home, you KNOW that baby is going to be spoiled and cherished.

Safe travels, my little Penny girl. You were so loved here, and you are going to be so loved there. 💕
