U- Dirty Dog Policies (Effective October 2020)
Appointment Time
Unfortunately as we are not a boarding facility, we do not have the facilities to board your dog(s) for extended periods of time before or after their groom. We ask our clients to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time, and pick up within 30 minutes of when your dog is done unless special arran
gements have been made prior to their appointment with the groomer. We give a 15 minute window to allow you to make your appointment time. After 15 minutes your appointment is subject to rescheduling to our next available opening. We understand emergencies happen and are happy to work with you if you keep us informed, but repeatedly coming to appointments late may result in "No Show" fees. Payment
Payment for services is due upon pickup. If relatives or friends are picking up your dog(s) for you, please send payment along with whoever is picking up your dog, prepay before your appointment, or pay over the phone prior to pickup. We no longer allow delays in payment. Cancellations
We value your time as our guest, and set aside time exclusively for you! In the event that you need to cancel or modify an appointment, we kindly ask that you do so by 5pm the night prior to your appointment time (without cancellation penalty). Messages left after 5pm, or Same day cancellations or rescheduling will result in a $10 rescheduling fee that will be added to your next groom. NO SHOWS: We kindly ask that you cancel your appointment in advance so that we are able to fill your spot with someone on our wait-list. No-shows will have a $10 rescheduling fee added to price of their next groom. The rescheduled groom including the fee, must be paid upon drop off before the groom is completed. If more than one (1) no show occurs, all future appointments will require a 50% non refundable deposit that will be paid upon scheduling. You will have until 5pm the day before your appointment to notify us of a reschedule. Same day no shows or rescheduling after 5pm the day before will result in you forfeiting the 50% deposit. Aggressive Dogs
Owners must inform U-Dirty dog if your dog has bitten, if it is aggressive with people, or other dogs. For the safety of your dog and our staff, a soft muzzle may be used at the groomers discretion if your dog attempts to bite. U-Dirty Dog reserves the right to refuse or stop services for aggressive dogs at any time and may charge grooming fees for what services were provided. Groom Satisfaction
At U-Dirty Dog we strive to do our best to give your dog the best haircut possible based on the instructions we are given at drop off! If you would like any changes made to your groom, you must let us know within 24 hours of pickup so we can arrange a time with you to make the changes you would like. Calls made after the 24hr time period may be subject to additional grooming fees. Parasites
Fleas
If you suspect your pet has fleas, please notify us when you call or come in to make an appointment. We do offer flea/tick baths using an all natural citrus shampoo at an additional cost of $10. If your pet comes to an appointment with fleas and we are not notified, a flea/tick bath will automatically be given to your dog and the charge will be added on to the price of the groom. Worms
If a dog is found to have worms (Round worms or tapeworms) during any stage of the groom, it is immediately sent home. Charges will apply for whatever stage of the groom we have been able to do. Dogs with worms are expected to be picked up within 30 minutes of our call. Any flea, roundworm, or tapeworm segment whether alive or dead will be preserved in tape and given to the owner at the time of pickup so they make give it to their veterinarian for proper treatment. For dogs with worms, we will require a clear f***l test from a veterinarian before their next appointment. Health and Medical Problems & Senior Dogs
Grooming can be stressful for some dogs, especially older dogs or dogs with underlying health issues. These can be exposed or aggravated during or after a groom. Owners must notify U-Dirty Dog of any health issues or injuries a dog may have prior to or at drop off so we may take the necessary precautions during their groom. Any dog 7 years or older must sign a senior dog form at the time of the groom. Refusal to sign a form will result in your dogs appointment being cancelled and no future appointments will be available. Client and Staff Interactions
We value all of our amazing clients! Staff members at U-Dirty Dog are here to make every client and dog feel welcome and appreciated! We understand that every dog is a precious member of the family and we want to extend that family feeling while they are in our salon. In return, we ask that all clients respect our staff members whether its on the phone or in person. Aggressive verbal behavior towards any staff member for any reason will not be tolerated and in these cases, all services provided by U-Dirty Dog will cease to be available to that client. Emergency Grooming Appointments
U-Dirty Dog is now offering emergency grooming appointments! We understand that sometimes you need to get your dog in right away! These special appointments are for anyone who finds themselves in the position where they need to get their dog in for grooming ASAP and cannot wait until our next available scheduled grooming. This is an 8:30am appointment only. This appointment spot will be before our regular store opening and is subject to an additional $20 fee on top of the regular grooming price. This charge is to be paid when the appointment is made, and is non-refundable. As an employee will be coming in before regular business hours and before our scheduled appointments, do ask that you be on time. Late appointments will make it difficult to finish your groom in a timely manner. We will allow a 5 minute grace period for this appointment. Late arrivals or no shows to this appointment will be considered a cancellation and the $20 fee will be forfeited. By bringing your pet to U-Dirty Dog for any grooming service you acknowledge you have read, understand, and agree with all of our policies.
