Meet Iris 💛

When Iris was first found, she was fighting for her life. She was dangerously underweight, weak, and suffering from Hepatic Lipidosis, which caused severe jaundice that turned her skin and eyes yellow. Her condition was heartbreaking, but the family who found her never stopped believing in her and gave her a chance.

After spending a week in the hospital, receiving a feeding tube, constant care, and endless love, Iris slowly began to heal. Her liver levels returned to normal, the jaundice faded away, and she transformed into the happy, healthy cat she is today. She is thriving with the family who gave her a second chance.

Sometimes, one act of compassion can change a life forever. 🐾

Capri gave us quite the surprise at Palmetto Animal Urgent Care! Can you guess what those white objects are in her x-ray? 🩻

After not feeling well at home, diagnostics showed she had ingested 🪨ROCKS🪨 that became lodged in her intestines. Dr. Meghan Sullivan performed an enterotomy to safely remove them from her intestines, and Capri is now recovering comfortably💕

A good reminder that if your pet isn’t acting like themselves, don’t wait to get them checked. Early care matters! 🐕 🩻 🪨 🐾

Sometimes it’s easier to get down on the floor and get a good look🙃

Good news for Fletcher! 🐶 He recently had abdominal surgery to remove a piece of cloth he swallowed, but his incision has healed perfectly.

Because of that, he finally gets to take off his e-collar! So proud of this brave boy and thankful for a smooth recovery. 💙
