Meet Smokey! He came in one evening after tearing up a carpet and eating the carpet strings. This caused him to have a linear foreign body obstruction in his intestines, and he had to have emergency surgery. The strong carpet threads cut through the intestines and caused a septic infection. After a few days of supportive care in the hospital Smokey started eating and he let us know he was feeling better and ready to go home. Now look at him go! We are so happy to see you enjoying your walks Smokey! 💕🤗
