Twilight maternity photos for the Twilight litter! 🖤✨

I think it’s safe to say mama has a wide load bumper sticker with her name on it! She no longer stands, she braces. It’s a STANCE. She is her usually silly happy self, but she avoids the stairs if she can and really loves to wallow in the mud, snow, or cow pie if she can find one..

I think it’s safe to say she can’t trick us with only two babies this time around! 🫣🤦🏽‍♀️

Our Miss Lou is doing her very best to keep this big ole belly tucked up as high as she can! She is just as wide as she is low. A literal box mama!

We completed her X-ray today, and bless our wonderful vet… those babies are packed in so tightly that it was hard to make out much of anything! We confidently counted at least eight little ones, with the possibility of up to 12 hiding in there. And here I was, kindly requesting six. Beaucerons… always trying to overachieve!

We’re currently going through applications and opening a couple more spots on our waitlist since Lou has decided to go above and beyond. If you believe we missed your application please feel free to email us.

I refuse to become the kind of breeder who loses her heart in the process.

I’ve seen it happen.

People start out loving the dogs… and somewhere along the way, the love the income more.

The spark fades.
The calling turns into convenience.
The dogs become numbers.
The litters become paychecks.

And I promised myself a long time ago
that would never be me. I refuse to be the kind of breeder who looks at a heat cycle and sees dollar signs instead of responsibility. Who treats dogs like inventory instead of souls.

I refuse to chase trends, colors, patterns, viral looks at the cost of health, temperament, and stability. Because these are not accessories. These are living, breathing little hearts who will grow into someone’s family member. And I refuse to forget the families waiting on the other side of these puppies.

The kids who’ve prayed for a dog.
The mama who needs companionship.
The couple starting their little life together.

I will never be the breeder who takes the payment, hands over the puppy and emotionally clocks out.
To me, placing a puppy isn’t a sale
it’s an extension of my heart walking out the door.

I refuse to breed for attention.
For likes.
For clout.
For bragging rights.
For the approval of the internet.

I refuse to be the breeder who stops learning.
Who gets comfortable.
Who stops asking questions because “I’ve been doing this long enough.”

The moment I stop growing is the moment I stop deserving these dogs. Instead, I choose to be the breeder who still feels everything. Who still gets butterflies every time a mama goes into labor. Who panics a little at every quiet puppy. Who sets alarms through the night “just to check one more time.”

Who celebrates every tiny milestone like it’s the first time I’ve ever seen it. I choose to be the breeder who prays over her dogs, before breeding, during pregnancy, during whelping, and long after the puppies leave. I choose to carry the emotional weight of every life I help bring into this world.

The hard decisions.
The sleepless nights.
The fear.
The joy.
The heartbreak.
All of it.

When a puppy is born here, they take a piece of me with them. And that doesn’t fade after eight weeks…
not ever. I choose to be the breeder who would rather have one exceptional litter than ten rushed, careless, poorly planned ones.

Because at the end of the day, anyone can put two dogs together.
Anyone can post pictures.
Anyone can sell puppies.

But not everyone is willing to carry the emotional, physical, and moral weight that comes with truly ethical breeding. Not everyone is willing to say “no” when money is on the table. Not everyone is willing to do things the right way when no one is looking. Not everyone is willing to put their heart on the line again and again and again. But I am. As long as I am doing this, this is the standard I will hold myself to. Whether it’s easy or not. Whether people understand or not. Whether anyone ever sees the behind-the-scenes or not.

Because these dogs deserve it.
The families deserve it.
And my heart… could never live with anything less. 🩶

Popcorn Ball (Black Boy)

My tenacious, sweet, brave boy. He does have an off switch but it if there’s even the slightest possibility of something to do, he’s there! He proudly considers himself one of the leaders of the litter always the first to march into the great unknown with all the confidence in the world. But the moment you glance down, there he is curled up at your feet ready for some love. He has wonderful toy and food drive, but does prefer a toy. This is a beautiful puppy, and I would consider placing him as a show prospect. (HOME FOUND)

Ghostini (Yellow Girl)

My little angel baby with a devilish streak! This little girl is our sneaky, pint-sized assassin. She may be the smallest in the litter, but don’t let that fool you. She dishes out surprise whoopings on her siblings like it’s her personal life mission. She is an independent little thing, she’ll happily curl up beside you one moment and then entertain herself next. She’s also quick to vocalize exactly how she feels about her new toys, but other than that she is silent. She has great food and toy drive, but toys take the cake. She’s always watching you. Always. Those eyes follow you like a tiny angel or a little wraith who might also ambush you later. She would make an incredible companion for someone who appreciates a little mischief wrapped in a whole lot of love.

Apple Cider (Green Boy)

This puppy absolutely spikes his apple cider every morning. There is simply no other explanation. He wakes up busy, stays busy, and goes to sleep plotting tomorrow’s busy. If something can be tugged, pulled, or swung from? He’s already halfway through ripping it off the chair, the wall, or the shelves with great enthusiasm and zero remorse. But beneath all that chaos lives a very sweet boy who expresses affection through tooth kisses and chigger bites. They’re heartfelt. They’re passionate. They’re slightly painful. This kid needs a home ready to celebrate his enthusiasm instead of being surprised by it. A home that sees his drive as potential, not chaos. Someone who wants an active buddy to try all the things with sports, adventures, brain games, or whatever new activity pops into his little caffeine-charged mind.

A few notes to consider:

- Our pricing and placement information is on our website! As well as ton of information about our program, the breed, and their parents. Puppies have raised with puppy culture. They have been exposed to car rides, socialization outings, potty training foundations, crate training, nail trims, grooming, toy and food drive activities, noise sensitivy exercises, barrier frustration exercises, ESI, ENS, introduced to friendly dogs and cats.

- None of these puppies are being placed as service dog prospects.

- Their ears are getting cropped at 2pm today with Dr. Anne Midgarden.

- My waitlist has first opportunity to come forward and express interest.

- They will be ready to go to their new families after the 20th of December.

7.5 Weeks Old

Thank you all so much for the incredible birthday wishes. My heart feels so full, and my soul truly happy. 🩶

This year, my birthday began under a blanket of fresh snow. Along with a long list of chores that the weather made *extra* interesting, lol! But honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. My day was wrapped in the presence of my beloved dogs. With the farm in full swing and the babies needing so much of my focus, the big dogs aren’t getting as much individual attention as they’re used to. They’ve all had to adjust, and seeing them frolic with joy in the snow or down to the creek beds during or pack walks make every sacrifice feel worth it. 💕

What touched me most, though, was watching the little ones play and discover the world for the very first time… and seeing the mama dogs waddling around with their big bellies, carrying the next generation of lives that will be so dearly loved. There’s something indescribably special about these moments.

Without further ado I am so excited to share our very last litter of 2025.

My sweet Sahelyu and my very wildchild Garou are expecting babies! This pairing is incredibly close to my heart. I almost kept it to myself, wondering if sharing them was the right choice. They both have their Championships, and while I would love to have backend titles as well, time simply isn’t on my side right now. I questioned whether they were truly “enough”, but my intuition kept whispering that these puppies were meant to be. That they will be every bit as special as I feel they are. Time doesn’t pause; my girl’s clock keeps ticking. And I choose to welcome these little ones with so much excitement and love , trusting that they will show the world exactly who they are meant to be. They have many wonderful greats behind them.

Many years ago, one of the Twilight movies premiered on my birthday, and we rented out the entire theater. So it feels only fitting that this becomes our Twilight litter. Sahelyu has always been my sparkly girl, and Garou… well, he’s absolutely my strong-hearted wolf.

So now, the only real question left is…

My Spooky Treats are 6 weeks old! 👻

They got to spend the last week with Auntie Grace while wes and I traveled out of town! The got to be the little heathens that they are while continuing to be exposed to construction work, first baths, litter box training, and some food and toy drive building. Before we left we did first car rides and socialization trip!

Today they got to experience their first snow day! They loved it. I did not. They wanted to stay outside. I wanted to go inside. We compromised and I watched them play through the glass door.

This week introduction to crates, more grooming exposure, clicker training exercises, and socialization trips.

I love them all so much. They are all brave, happy, and tenacious puppies! If my gut and heart agree during evals next week, I think we’ll have one very active companion / sport prospect available. But we shall see!

Though Thanksgiving is not the only day we should grace ourselves with gratitude, thoughtfulness, and kindness it is a wonderful day to share all those thoughts out loud.

My heart is so full when I think about the incredible families who love and care for my puppies. To every single owner who has welcomed a Svajonė puppy into your home, thank you. Your dedication, patience, updates, photos, messages, and unwavering love for your dogs mean more to me than I can ever put into words.

Breeding is a journey filled with early mornings, late nights, and so much passion… but you are what makes it truly meaningful. Seeing my puppies grow into happy, confident, cherished members of your families is the greatest gift. Knowing they are adored, protected, trained, and valued the way I hoped they would be is something I’ll never take for granted.
Thank you for believing in my vision, for supporting my program, and for treating your dogs as the treasures they are. You are the soul of Svajonė, and I’m endlessly grateful.

I also want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude and respect for the incredible breeders who walk this journey alongside me. Breeding is not just a passion. The world of breeding, and of those eager to enter it, can often feel like its own complicated chapter. Too frequently, sincerity and transparency take a back seat to maintaining a flawless exterior, no matter how far that image strays from the truth.

In many circles, everything is about presentation.
Perfect photos, perfect puppies, perfect parents. Carefully curated images, polished captions, and pristine narratives. Yet behind the scenes, there is often only silence. Health concerns are minimized or entirely concealed. Structural weaknesses, imperfect results, difficult decisions—rarely do these make it to the surface, so long as the public image remains untouched.

It is disheartening to watch this silence not only persist, but be applauded. Far too many place their trust in those who never acknowledge a challenge, never admit a misstep, never speak openly about their own breeding decisions. As if avoiding the discussion altogether somehow signals excellence.

But the truth is quite the opposite. Silence is not a marker of quality—it is a warning sign. Breeders who conceal reality do a disservice not only to themselves, but to the families who trust them, and ultimately to the dogs who rely on us most.

We choose a different path.

We reflect on ourselves critically. We speak openly, even when the conversation is uncomfortable to those open to listening. We share successes and struggles alike. A hip result that isn’t ideal, a temperament trait to monitor, a pairing we might approach differently next time, nothing is hidden from those like-minded. And we stand by every dog we produce; if one ever needs to come home, our door is open without hesitation. Our responsibility extends far beyond producing pretty pictures. It is about real life, real dogs, and real commitment.

And yes, this openness has made us a target. Some are unsettled by honesty; others misinterpret transparency as weakness and use it as weapons against us. But we know that genuine breeding quality is born from knowledge, reflection, and truth. Not from maintaining a pristine façade.

Our breeding program is not an advertising campaign. It is work fueled by passion, sacrifice, and devotion. We plan our litters with intention, investing time, resources, and countless hours. We travel across states and even across borders to find the right stud. A journey that is often long, tedious, and anything but glamorous, because giving our puppies the strongest start in life is non-negotiable.

We pour ourselves into raising our litters. Not everything we do is posted online, nor does it need to be. Our focus is on the dogs, not approval metrics. Our puppies leave us well-prepared because of what we do, not what we publish. If others prefer to stay silent, gloss over issues, or present only the polished fragments of their work, that is their choice. We choose the harder road.

And yes, that means we are talked about. Not because our program is flawed, but because authenticity unsettles those who prefer perfection over truth. It is easy to admire an illusion when there is nothing to question. It is harder to acknowledge the courage it takes to show reality.

But at the end of the day, we remain grounded in what matters. We can look in the mirror without hesitation.
We stand by our decisions and our dogs. We choose integrity over appearance, even when it is uncomfortable. And we will not be shaken by those who hide behind carefully constructed images, because we know that true quality lives not in illusion but in honesty, accountability, and heart.
