A couple of years ago we sold “Bow”, a male Golden Retriever Hybrid to a young lady in NE Oklahoma. She was later unable to care for the dog and wished to return him. Unfortunately, at the time circumstances prevented that. I have recovered and would very much like to be reunited with Bow. If anyone knows where I might locate him, I would greatly appreciate any information.

A little bit about us!

Hello and welcome to the Ozarks. A lot of people have raised dogs since they were young but I was actually raised by dogs. I am 70 years old but my mother tells me that a baby-sitting Black and Tan Coonhound kept me on a blanket when I was an infant. My folks raised c**n and racing hounds on a farm in Bo**er (Douglas) County. I was an only child with no close neighbors so my dogs and my pony were my crew. My wife and I are life-long dog lovers and raised a few Afghan Hounds and Lhasa Apsos in the 70's. Later, we bred seven generations of Golden Retrievers.

We love Golden Retrievers but currently are not breeding them. Hopefully genetic research will improve the breed. Luckily we discovered Doodles. They are amazing dogs: smart, friendly, beautiful and very healthy. Our dog family contains Bella, an adorable Golden Retriever; Chumba, a second generation Goldendoodle; Max, an extremely smart miniature poodle; Luna, a Bernese Mountain Dog: Malia, a Goldendoodle; and Ava, a powerful Havanese. At least five dogs sleep in our bedroom and I strongly recommend the use of "enzymes" and a good vacuum cleaner. We love our dogs and now that we are retired, we have more time to enjoy them.
