Sunday was a very special day for Optimum Time Equestrian.

Essex 2025- the first year with a team showing at this event!

Megan and Linkous T 👑 were 5th in the open training, Linkous was on his game without a foot out of line, one of his best performances to date!

Turning for home graduate Mani Pedi 💅completed the starter, only her second ever horse trials and first rated, she was piloted beautifully by leaser Hilary!

Connie and her mare Courageous Karen 💫also completed the starter level, placing well, this was also only this teams second time at a horse trial, and first rated event! Cheer squad Gracie kept the pair feeling confident!

We are so proud of all three horses and riders performance this weekend, we cannot wait for events to come, time to work towards moving up next season! Thank you everyone who came, helped, and supported: as well as those who stayed behind to keep the farm running smoothly, we appreciate each and every one of you! 🌞🏆💙

This week we are highlighting Mani Pedi! 💅

Mani Pedi came to Optimum Time Equestrian in December of 2024 and was instantly a fan favorite with her sweet demeanor and show of great potential! Mani Pedi captured the heart of a student at OTE who now part leases her, the rest of the time Mani pedi is a super teacher for a few other riders! This smart girl has taken on cross country with great bravery, competed in horse trials, showed her athleticism off to Boyd Martin, and has cleaned up in the jumper ring! Mani Pedi is a beloved and long term member of the OTE family, we can’t wait to see how far this wonderful mare goes this summer in her first full season of showing 🦄🥇

Sussex Benifit #1

Congratulations OTE team on a succesful first show this weekend!

TFH Graduate Mani Pedi and Kristin Frawley moved up to the 2’3 after only a one show together last season! Coming home with 2nd and 3rd after amazing rounds!

TFH Graduate Gambit “Ridin With Biden” Owned by Chris Liccardi and ridden by Megan attended his very first show in the 2’3 itty bitty jumpers coming home with a 5th place ribbon, a couple of rails keeping him from the top places, he learned a lot!

Cali “OTE Make a splash” and Kristin Bautel were 4th and 6th moving up to the 2’3 for the first time!

Goose and Sam Smith had succesful rounds in the 2’3 itty bittys for their first time in the jumpers and only 2nd show together! It was a learning experience for both and can’t wait for the duo to get back in the show ring!

Siera Meng had a last minute change of mounts, showing Karen in the Pleasure division coming home successful with some ribbons!

Secret and Morgan had their show debut as a team, earning 🥈🥉🥉 and a fourth place in the beginner hunter! Missing reserve by just a few points!

TFH graduate Dangnabbit and Noor made their show debut in the short stirrup, 5th place in their flat class, a few baby horse moments keeping them out of the ribbons over fences, yet we are happy with their success!

Dolly and Grace were champ of the leadline division! Gracie handled her spunky pony like a pro to earn her ribbons! ❤️💙💛

Thank you everyone for a fantastic day of showing, we are proud of everyone, both horses and riders! We can’t wait for our next time out! 🐴🎉

Happy Mother’s day from Optimum Time Equestrian!

Today we would like to take time to celebrate all of the moms out there!

The ones who ride, and the ones who don’t
The ones who work hard to make dreams come true
The ones who spend their days off slaving away at horseshows
The ones whose babies are in heaven
The non-Human mommas
Even the ones with furry kids

Follow up Friday 🎉

Welcome to OTE’s brand new series; Follow up Friday! Each week we will be featuring one of our turning for home graduates, showing updates on their journey from the racetrack to their new career!

This week we would like to feature one of our very first (And biggest) Turning for Home graduates- Lido Legacy!

Lido came to Optimum Time Equestrian in July of 2022! He instantly wormed his way into the hearts of everyone around the barn, in fact he’s still a resident here at OTE!

This guy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, nothing fazes him, he’s left the need for speed long in the past. Now, Lido is loved by his owner Liz, and her family. He is truly just a big, gentle puppy, enjoying going for walks and taking long naps in the sun, some days finding the energy to romp around the field with his friends. Lido appreciates the happy-hacker lifestyle, he’s game to trot around one day then get fed carrots until the next time you want to go for a spin, he doesn’t care if it’s the next day or next month, he’s always the same levelheaded, carefree guy that we all know and love.
