🐚 Do yall remember our sweet Oyster that was up for adoption? Well she got adopted and turned into a Pearl! 🐾 She came in for her booster vaccines and was such a brave girl 💗

And the cuteness doesn’t stop there… we’ve got another kitten up for adoption! Danny 🩵 He’s playful, silly, and can’t wait to find his forever family 💕 Come by the clinic to meet him if you are interested 🐾

❗️To ensure Danny goes to the best home there will be a vet reference check for anyone that wants to adopt him.

Today is World Veterinary Day and we love to celebrate these 3 every day! They support us by setting clear, reasonable expectations that empower us to perform at our best and succeed together as a team. We couldn't be the best team without Dr. Milner, Dr. Bob, and Dr. Shine as our leaders!

World Veterinarian Association says "This year’s theme focuses on the importance of teamwork in veterinary care, acknowledging that effective veterinary services often rely on the collective efforts of a range of professionals, including veterinary nurses, technicians, researchers, and other allied health professionals."

AVMA President Dr. Sandra Faeh said: "Veterinarians rely upon the tremendous skill and dedication of a wide range of team members, including veterinary technicians, veterinary technologists, veterinary specialists, practice managers, client service representatives, and other colleagues, to take the best possible care of animals, provide excellent client service, and advance veterinary medicine."

Spring is here! And with that comes a warning about Leptospirosis, a disease caused by infection with Leptospira bacteria.

All dogs are at risk of leptospirosis, regardless of age, breed, lifestyle, geographic location, time of year, and other factors. The following situations can increase that risk:

➡Exposure to or drinking from slow-moving or stagnant water sources, like ponds, rivers, lakes, or streams
➡ Roaming on rural properties (because of exposure to potentially infected wildlife or farm animals or urine-contaminated water sources)
➡ Exposure to wild animals (especially rodents) or farm animals, even if in the backyard
➡ Contact with other dogs (such as in urban areas, dog parks, or boarding or training facilities)
