Just as a solid point today, gonna share this over the last 72 hours had a hard one the dog disappeared up into 20 miles of hiking trails mountain terrain after a dirt biker started chasing this guy‘s dog and started chasing it. we knew roughly where she had gone missing, I met with the owner at 11:30 PM second day that the dog has been missing. He told me what was going on and made the comment that he next to the trail area. So we headed down over by that area and threw up my drone spent 45 minutes, searching the area and finally came across what we believe to be her. We spent the next 10 minutes while the owner watched the mannerisms and positively identified the dog so that night I had them go out and buy a combination of a couple of different food options, specifically rotisserie chicken and canned sardines and then mash them and shreded them together and then explained to him where on the trails to put the bait headed home at about four in the morning after having spent the entire night out there, searching multiple areas and then finally identifying the nesting area, gave the husband and wife team instructions on how to go about doing the baiting process, showed them weather reports and patterns went home. A couple hours of sleep, started just doing my daily routine and got a call from the wife who is out there and setting bait since the husband had been out their for the last two days and tore his feet pretty badly so I explained to her exactly where the bait should go and she did well setting up the posters that I had coached them on within less than an hour we had multiple sightings that were confirmed so I took a nap back home Went back out 1045 got up there around 11:10 trying to get there as fast as possible a hour and a half away from this site. got up there, threw the drone back up and started droning in a different section where they had gotten the sightings away from the nesting area we didn’t see anything for the most part using the drone and transversing up the mountain all the way back 2 miles in and headed off back down to go drone other areas we had a couple of identifications that we thought may have been the dog,they always disappeared within a couple seconds after we were done I realized that there was a pattern going on with how she was moving and where she was moving so I talked with the husband and explained that him and his wife should take shifts at the bait stations. And that if they were to take the better part of that third day, she would walk right up to him and come right back. I got home slept for a couple of hours and got a call and a text message with this wonderful picture saying thank you. The spot on the picture showing the mountain on the farthest left was around the area where she took off from the spot on the far right was where we identify the nesting the spot on the bottom was a pin drop for where we parked
