Milo🩵 from the Tulsa shelter spent the past few weeks in a local foster home and now he's bunking with me for the night until transport tomorrow morning. He is available for through Western Australian Shepherd Rescue and will be in a foster home in Western

He also needs to get a health certificate📃 ($30 + $25 office visit), updated rabies ($12)💉current heartworm test ($20)🩸and heartworm prevention ($50)💊
That's close to $400😭 People really don't understand how much it costs to save these babies🐶🐱
Adoptions have been near zero📉 so no money is coming in from that.
17 people🥰have signed up for the Patreon so far which comes to $150 but remember that is monthly🗓and $150 barely covers 2 days worth of dog food🤯AND there's a 5 day hold on the money so I don't have access to it yet⛔️

Trigger warning ⚠️
These images are hard to look at. Just like in the movie Jaws, it's not what you see in the pictures but what's left to your imagination of how these dogs will be treated.
This is why I only half-heartedly celebrate shelter adoptions. Most shelters only require that you are 18 to adopt. That's it. That's all they verify. And then people give me crap for my application being too intrusive.
Not all adoptions are created equal.
