Sometimes bonding process for chinchillas can take months, we got lucky with these two. As soon as "Alvin" (grey) weened from his mother, he bonded with "Joey" (white) instantly. We started with side by side cages, then did outside cage time together and they hit it off right away! We watched them close in the beginning to make sure it stayed that way but they never had any signs of aggression or conflict whatsoever. Its so sweet to watch them cuddle and stay side by side when we take them out.
