Spring is here and the flowers are starting to bloom! Did you know that certain flower ingestion can be toxic to pets? In cats, one of the most dangerous poisonous plant is the lily flower which can result in kidney failure. Toxic lily flowers include the common Easter Lily, Tiger Lily, Japanese Lily, Stargazer Lily, Rubrum Lily, and Day Lily. Ingestion of 1-2 petals or even grooming pollen off of fur can result in severe kidney failure. If you suspect that your cat has ingested any part of a lily plant, we recommended bringing both your cat and the plant immediately in to be seen by a veterinarian. Happy Spring!

Please everyone SHARE this!!! Saw this poor kitty get hit by a car and was able to scoop him up and bring him to the police station so Westfield animal control could try and help him
**we Really NEED to find his OWNER *****

FOUND INJURED CAT!!!
This neutered cat was found on South Maple St in Westfield and is currently under vet care.
