LOST DOG - from Outer Drive near Mack in Detroit. This is SUSHI, a Yorkie mix with a microchip. Sushi was lost on 7/7. She gave birth to a litter of puppies on 7/3. We need to find Sushi ASAP. *LOST CAT* please share, Pearl is in Arizona visiting friends and has been lost since morning of 7/9. Please share with any groups in Az, specifically Fountain Hills. East Sunburst Dr and Wi******er, last seen at East Telegraph and Whitestone. She is very friendly and “talkative”. If you say her name and/or have treats she’d probably follow you.

The days surrounding the Fourth of July are one of the busiest times of the year for lost pets and for the staff at MCAC. Fireworks can cause even the calmest dogs and cats to panic, jump fences, slip out doors, or run away in fear.

Starting TODAY at 10:00 AM, Macomb County Animal Control is offering FREE microchips for all Macomb County residents to help keep your pets protected before the holiday.

🐾 Bring proof of ownership
🐾 The service is completely FREE

A microchip is the fastest, most reliable way to reunite you with your pet if they become lost. While collars and tags can fall off, a microchip stays with your pet for life.

Already have a microchip? Make sure your contact information is current. An outdated phone number or address can delay or even prevent a reunion.

Not sure if your pet is microchipped? Stop by and we'll scan them! You can also visit one of our FREE self-service MicroChip scanning stations located at:

📍 Eastpointe Police Department

You can also have your pet scanned at any veterinary office.
