**MYTH vs. FACT: "My dog has a short coat, so they don't need grooming after a day at the beach."**

**❌ MYTH:**
Short-haired dogs don't need grooming because their coat is low maintenance.

**✅ FACT:**
Even short-haired dogs can suffer from the effects of saltwater, sand, and sun. Salt left on the skin and coat can dry out the skin, cause irritation, and leave the coat dull and brittle. Sand can hide between paw pads, rub under collars, and irritate sensitive areas like the belly and armpits.

First haircuts are a huge milestone for puppies, and we're so proud of how well Patchouli did! We believe every puppy deserves a gentle, positive introduction to grooming. That's why we take things slow, use lots of patience, and focus on building trust every step of the way.
