🚨 Winter Driving Survival Guide 🚨
Alright y’all, it looks like snow will be falling, black ice will be lurking, and we know as Southerners, our "driving in winter weather" skills are about as solid as butter on a hot day.
Here's how to keep yourself (and us) out of trouble:
1️⃣ Stay Home. Seriously. Put a binge-worthy show on Netflix and spend the day under a warm blanket with a hot cup of cocoa.
2️⃣Slow down—this isn’t NASCAR.
3️⃣No cruise control! This isn’t a Sunday drive to Grandma’s.
4️⃣Bridges = Icy Slip ‘N Slides. Proceed with caution or prepare to meet the ditch or worse!
5️⃣ Clear the Snow Off Your Car: Yes, all of it. That snow missile on your roof will come flying off and hit someone. Don’t be that guy.
6️⃣Black Ice: Looks wet, acts evil. Assume every shiny patch is a trap
If You Slide:
1️⃣Don’t panic.
2️⃣Don’t brake like you’re stomping out a fire. Steady and gentle wins the race.
3️⃣For rear-wheel slides, steer into it. For front-wheel slides, shift to neutral, slow down, and then gently steer.
If you get Stuck :
Don’t spin your wheels—you’re not digging for gold.
Shovel, sprinkle some kitty litter or sand, and rock it out (carefully!).
Remember, the safest way to avoid winter weather chaos is to stay off the roads. But if you must brave the elements, bring snacks and a warm blanket—just in case. And call us if you need us.
Stay safe, folks! ❄️🚔
