☀️HEATWAVE PET SAFETY☀️

During extreme temperatures, make sure to keep your animals comfortable, cool & hydrated! If it’s hot for You, it’s even HOTTER for your pet.

💧Keep plenty of fresh drinking water readily available wherever your pet has easy access.

🛑 Do Not leave animals alone and exposed in the hot sun or alone in a car, ever.

🖐 Feel the pavement before you let your pet’s paws touch it - take walks during the cooler times of day.

🥵 Avoid outdoor play during the most extreme heat of the day. Even shady spots can be excessively hot.

🌊 Always supervise your pet when swimming.

☀️ Pet Sunscreen is a thing! With prolonged exposure to the sun, our pets can get sunburned just like us.

🧠 Know the signs and symptoms of overheating and stay vigilant.
