I wish I had better news.
The van needs a new power steering gear which will take until October 6.
October. Freakin'. 6th.
I've already told the shop that more than 2 months off will be detrimental to the new business I just started just 8 months ago-they unfortunately cannot do anything to expedite the shipping and I understand this. I have already called the Chrysler Part Department to make a case and hopefully get the part expedited. This seems to be my only option.
~I CANNOT take the van out of the shop, the power steering is going out not only during turns and reversing but even if it hit a small bump on the highway. It's unsafe for me to drive.
~Even if I got the mills out of the van, I do not have a big enough, air-conditioned space to allow dogs to run on them.
~IF I were to get aftermarket parts to me quicker, which the shop doesn't think is possible, it would void the warranty and I would be on the hook for not only the parts, but over $1,000 in labor.
~If you would like to reach out to Chrysler yourself, please message me and I can give you all the information you'll need to contact Chryslers Part Department to complain.
If ANYONE has ANY suggestions, I'm all ears.
If you had a sessions scheduled between now and the middle of September, you've probably received a cancellation notice or text from me. If you paid for sessions using a package, your session will simply go right back onto your package for later use.
