CUTENESS OVERLOAD ALERT!!!

We don’t always get to see how a rescue story ends… but this one is too special not to share. 💕

A few months ago, a tiny rescue kitten came through our doors—hurt, scared, and fighting to survive. Her leg was too damaged to save, but she wasn’t giving up. With a whole lot of love (and a very dedicated Dr. Garrison) she made it through surgery and healed like the brave little warrior she is. 🐾✨

Then something magical happened… she found her perfect forever home with Ethan!

And today...She came back to visit the doctor who helped save her life. Watching her hop right in like she owned the place was the sweetest full-circle moment...she even stayed around long enough to help Dr. Garrison finish her exam notes from the appointment!!! Everyone, meet "Melli".

It's getting chilly! 🥶Cold weather can affect your pet's joints, skin, activity, and routines. Here are a few tips to prepare your pet for wintertime:
- Provide a warm and cozy space off of the floor and away from drafts
- Sweaters or jackets are great for short-haired, small or senior pets
- Limit your pet's time outside in the extreme cold
- Some pets' nutrition needs might change during the winter. Talk to your vet if you think this might be the case.

Over the course of the past four weeks, we have hosted Christian as an intern during his fourth year of vet school. Christian worked for us here at Pinehurst Animal Hospital a few years before applying and getting accepted to LSU. Geaux Tigers!
We were so excited to hear that he chose us for one of his internships.
Our team has been so proud to have been part of his journey and it will be an honor one day to call him Dr. McIntosh!
