While we look forward to the celebrations, we also know fireworks and festivities can be stressful for our beloved pets. Here are a few tips and product suggestions to help keep your animals calm and safe this holiday:

🔔 First Things First
If your pet needs prescription anxiety medication, call your veterinarian today—don’t wait until Friday! Many clinics will also be closed for the holiday, and it’s best not to scramble last-minute when the fireworks begin.

🐶 For Dogs
• Use natural chews or CBD treats, we have many!
• Create a quiet space with white noise or calming music

🐱 For Cats
• Use a covered crate or cozy hideaway
• Treat them to some chill-out catnip toys to redirect anxiety

🐴 For Horses
• If fireworks are nearby, make sure your horse is in a safe, familiar space
• Consider herbal calming supplements or paste options
• Keep the routine steady and soothing—no surprises if you can help it and lots of hay!

Congratulations to our first Pet of the Month Winner, Charlie!! Charlie was a foster dog for her mom, Sarah, and then never left! She was a stray that had been shot and taken in by animal control prior to this and now she is a therapy dog who visits Moore County schools! How cool is that?!
