(Walk, Trot, Canter, and Jumping)
• Proper horse care & grooming routines
• Tacking & untacking instruction
• Crafts & games
• Guest speakers

💵 Cost: $550 per child
👧🧒 Ages & Levels: Ages 5+ and riding levels welcome

Why do we teach kids to jump one-handed? 🐎

Teaching young riders to jump with one hand isn’t just a fun challenge — it builds better, safer riders.
✨ Improves balance & core strength
Without relying on both reinnos, riders learn to stay centered and balanced over the jump.
✨ Encourages an independent seat
Kids stop using the reins for balance and learn to ride from their legs and seat instead.
✨ Develops soft, following hands
It prevents grabbing the horse’s mouth and promotes a more natural release.
✨ Builds confidence
Riders learn they can stay secure even when things don’t go perfectly.
✨ Teaches body awareness
They become more mindful of position, posture, and movement.
✨ Creates safer riders
Better balance + better control = safer riding habits in the long run.
One-handed jumping is a simple exercise with big benefits!!!
We are all about having fun while working on a great riding foundation.

I loved seeing these kids outside in the rain & cold riding this past weekend. Not a care in the world. Nothing keeps them from getting their chores done and tacking up.
